Lets listen to an Educated Black Woman, shall we...

I have no respect for a corrupt system. With that said, I want to lead the next revolution. The next social revolution. The liberation of all people, and the freedom to be who and what they are. I want to be the next Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Nelson Mandela, Stokley Carmichael and Assata Shakur. To do this, I will find my own heritage. Read the many ( Read more... )

Capitalism may be corrupt but communism is worse. It's just the rich that rule the country that are corrupt. No one will ever truly be equal.

i'm not really sure if you hate capiltalism or just white people...you're mixing your messages.
also, you should stop trying so hard to be black. everyone knows you're black; we can see it when we look at you. all these ridiculous ideas of REVOLUTION are doing nothing but feeding into another stereotype. and if you had any common sense at all, you wouldn't want to be a black panther.

so if this shit doesn't stop soon, i'm going to get together with the other 4 black people in bridgewater and we're going to kick your ass.

Your Sister,
Irena "I'm High Yellow" Eaves

ok, first i dont hate white people and i'm iffy on capitalism. Second, i'm not trying to be black. I'm just doing what i feel is right. I believe in a revolution and i'm not feeding into another stereotype. Nowhere does it say that black people want a revolution. I'm just being me and if you wanna kick my ass for that, then maybe you should look at your ownself and see whats wrong.

Maybe you dont understand that living in this country, we have the freedom to have any opinion we want, and not be harmed or prosecuted for that. My opinion does not harm you or any other people. I did not discriminate in any way against white people. I'm speaking to oppressed people all over the world, and if you have a problem with me wanting to help the world, i suggest you come talk to me about it instead of wanting to beat me up over MY opinion.

for someone who has so deeply researched her own culture and follows so Malcolm X so avidly that she even made him her icon, you seem to have missed the Black Militant stereotype (before he went to mecca, Malcolm X was THE black militant; the black panthers were a black militant organization).
under this iron fist of capitalism, exactly what people are not allowed to be who they are? is it the oppressed colored people?
and the point of this prior "revolution" was not to go against the staus quo; it was to be treated as equal citizens and if you missed that part, you haven't been reading the right books.
you are right about one thing, though. No business is complete without the exploitation of hundreds. you can find that anywhere, i mean, just look at the Rockin K Cafe. (oh no wait...that's the freedom to open up our own businesses that capitalism has forced upon us.)

and, as it is your right to have your own opinions, it is my right to mock them.

perhaps i wrote this entry a little odd. my feelings were jumbled quickly onto the page. But i do want change, as much as possible, because change shows the continual evolution of human beings. There are so many things that i want to change out there so therefore my focus is blurred. But hopefully i can help change all these things.

By the way, it may seem to you that i'm attaching myself to something black to "strike a chord" but that is not true. I am just looking up to brave people. And i do agree, there are/were some highly bright klansmen.

alright, so you've been proven wrong on all fronts, like a true revolutionary, you retreated. Hows about, before you spread another revolution to the millions of oppressed people (race not being an integral part in the revolution) through your livejournal, maybe you should collect your points, or have a valid standing point on something. I mean, I could say that I want to be like Reagan because he was a great white man in my race, and the president of the United States, but he was actually a homophobic, hypocritical, clandestine motherfucker. Why attach yourself to someone elses work, is it because you want to say something but have nothing to say because you live in suburbia and aren't oppressed. Listen up, there's nothing you can do if you have no ideas OF YOUR OWN, so please refrain from filling up our friendslist with mixed messages and false hopes of never ending evolution, oh wait, the only constant is change. So I guess your job is done.

p.s. I love you and my arguments here do not reflect on my opinion of you.
