I love the way you write, I really do. I know I say it every time you write something but it's true. All the little details, all the particulars that make me feel so calm and comforted. Like them drinking lemonade and the cool evening air and the busy East London street.
They get the bus back to Barking Road together, and when Ricardo puts his key in the lock, opens the door that leads to the stairs to his flat, he is smiling. It feels good to say goodbye to someone in the area, to walk the twenty yards to his front door. To feel like a local.

I love that part especially. It's such a sweet insight into their relationship and ooh it just makes me feel all warm and squishy inside. As do all the kiddies; yay at Nora being the bossy little madam. <3

This is sooo cute and lovely. I love kids but I haate bad kid!fic - I do love kid!fic done right, which is hard to find. You've done it right! I like how you've done the kids well even though they're on the periphery - naughty Shaqueel made me lol. It makes me miss my old job!
And the Mata/Torres stuff is so nicely done and domestic. And even though pretty much all I know about Vaz Te is his smile I imagine him to be a great babysitter. There's just lots of lovely little things going on, David and Stevie and the Alcantaras :)
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm about to spend half an hour cooing over all the Spain babies pics I reblogged from the Euros.

If all you know about Vaz Te is his smile of JOY and SUNSHINE then that's fine. To be honest, aside from his beautiful goal scoring ability, we don't know much about him. But with a smile like that I think it's certainly fair to assume he'd be a great nursery worker :)
