So, Holocaust presentations were today. Won't say anything about them (besides my group was the best), except that Tech-Deck really has a way with words. When presenting about what most Holocaust survivors did after they were liberated, he said:
"And you know that it has to be hard to adjust to normalcy after something like that. Everyone here realizes that after being starved and beaten, those 9 to 5 days aren't something you can peacefully allow yourself to fall back into."
I'm kind of wondering how many Holocaust survivors were forced into those boring everyday lives after they were liberated. Surely not all of them had fantastic abilities -- not all of them won Nobel Peace Prizes, or wrote, or taught. There had to have been at least one that just kind of fell back into the crowd, shocking everyone in a room when they announced something amazing really had ever happened to them.
AAAAAAAANYWAY --
Supernatural is really freaking amazing. For anyone that hasn't seen it: WATCH IT! It's amazing. *says amazing 20 more times* I'm not kidding. Sam is cute and serious at the same time, and Dean is just... oh my. He's definitely the bad ass, but in a nonchalant way. Well, not really. Uhh.. yeah. This is why you must watch it! Figure out for youself! Even though I will give this quote that I really, really, really thought was funny. Maybe it was just the look on Dean's face.
So, he's dying, right? Dean, that is. Basically his spirit is wondering around the halls of the hospital, with the reaper (who, at the time, he didn't know was the reaper trying to convince him that death really wasn't something he needed to run from) and he walks into his room to check on his body (lolmuch) and sees his brother and his dad arguing. So, he's trying to tell them to shut up -- really, who wants to see their only family argue when they're DYING? Dean takes his spirit hand and swings it into a cup of water, which he successfully knocks over.
"Dude, I full-on Swayze'd that mother :O" <-- I'll admit that I probably only think that is funny because I say "mother" all the time. Oh, yeah, and the ":O" thing was def. the only kind of emotion that played on his face for a full scene, so, YAY!
Anywayyy. Watch it! It's amazing. I don't do well explaining things xD So make your own opinion! *finishes motivational speech... crickets chirp*
SIX DAYS UNTIL I AM OFFICIALLY 15 YEARS OLD! YES!
