Summary: Jongjhyun meets Amber under rather unusual circumstances at her job.

The bells above the front door ring out in the relative silence of the convenience store as Jonghyun shuffled in the bright store, eyes scanning for the drinks before zeroing in on his target and heading straight towards it, not even noticing the short haired girl scrolling through her ipod playlist behind the checkout counter.
Nor did she notice him until the cold air from the open freezer door gave her goosebumps that caused her to rub the exposed skin along her upper arms. Turning to the doors with a perplexed look on her face she eyed the boy standing still, just staring into the freezer at the expanse of energy drinks like they held the answer to life’s greatest questions like who built the pyramids and why the hell coke tasted like battery acid.
Leaning forward over the counter so she could get a look at his expression her mouth dropped open, dropping her ipod as she saw that the short blonde was, in fact…asleep.
Needing no further incentive she was pushing herself over the counter with her arms, letting her legs swing towards the other side with a familiar childish air before heading towards the boy in the leather jacket that was looking more and more familiar as she got a better look at his face.
Whoah he is legit sleeping. What the hell?
She’s tilting her head to the side, looking at his face as she tries to figure out how she knows him. His features remind her of her own, the odd nose that some people make fun of her for, the strong jaw, sharp cheekbones and rebellious hair.
She still wasn’t sure why she knew him though, but regardless of all that he was still sleeping during her shift.
Two pokes and a semi-casual punch to the shoulder later the boy woke up with a start, looking shocked and dismayed at his circumstances, and more so at the girl who seemed to be assaulting him, “Wha--?”
“Hey you should probably head home, did you drive?”
The boy was so tired he didn’t question why she was asking or even be embarrassed about the fact that he was found sleeping in front of the energy drinks at a convenience store, “No I walked.”
She sighed, looking around the store before muttering something to herself, “Do you know anyone who lives nearby that can pick you up?” The boy stared at her, his eyebrows scrunched up as if she just asked him a complicated algebra equation.
“Minho.” Finally! Her hand is reaching for her phone before she realizes what he said, “Wait like Choi Minho? Tall lanky guy whose soul mate is a soccer ball?” The blonde’s eyes are starting to droop but he’s nodding at least.
Her fingers run on reflex more than anything as she types in the numbers, “Sweet action, he’s one of my friends, I gotcha covered.” She gives him this crooked smile that seems too casual and laid back for a girl, more like a buddy who is about to play xbox with him and for some reason he believes her.
