I took some photos of lydia today so you can get a taste of what life is like with a bald, large-cheeked baby. oh, and one of my awesome toenail!--- or lack thereof.

notice how my bookshelf has NO BOOKS? she is why. the ones left out are the ones I've read most recently. still, she fingers through the spines and decides on one to pull out.
basically, she likes to reach for things, analyze them for 10-15 seconds, and toss them on the floor.
see? I clean this up 595794759 times a day :)
her favorite place in the house. sometimes when I'm cooking, she will disappear. I will look all throughout the house until I remember to check behind her glider. usually, she will sit down and be 100% invisible. :D
I was trying to get her to look up, but she saw the cast on my toe. silly baby.
I tried to get her to look at the camera so badly that when I took the photo, I wasn't even ready >:O
aaaaand, finally! the one you have all been waiting for:
awesome! the tip of my toe is swollen like an alien head due to that numbing serum they injected into it twice.
