I look up suddenly, breaking out of that world of my own for a moment before making eyes contact with Ariel.

"..huh? oh hey."

I smile

"Now if you keep visiting outterspace people might start to think you have a boyfriend up there"

i tease with a smile, yes a bit of retarded ariel humor, but i try so that does count for something right?

I smile a little.

"hey, have you heard anything around school about me? I mean, besides the usual stuff, like maybe something teachers have said?"

"I heard one say you were a little distracted as of late but i barely listen to the teachers in class let alone out of, why something wrong?"

I nod and smile.

"let's go then, it's about time I had some fun..."

Nevermind that I know that's where Spike is, that doesn't effect my decision at all...

dropping my school books off in the room we head out towards town

"So, Fox and I talked about him and I yesterday" I said softly

I raise my eyebrows. How much did he say? what about him? certain things my brother could tell her were not things anyone should know...

"oh yeah?"

I shrug softly

"Bunch of different things, but the end result is we are dating now"

a smile grows as i think about it

I study the clothes racks with a trained and careful eye, it's a very typical thing to say, but very true. Shopping is like an art for me, I was careful to only wear flattering outfits and colors, to always stay ontop of trends.

I wanted people to watch the red carpet and say, oh, I saw Sam wear that last week...

"would someone please explain to me faux fir? Makes a girl look like she just butchered a defenseless stuffed animal."

I bust out laughiong then put my hand over my mouth when people glare

"you said that arounhd 3 ladies standing to buy it" i whisper with a huge amused grin

I giggle and cast the women in line a little glance, making a point to lower my voice a little this time.

"well, maybe next time they'll shop with more discretion."

I grin.

I smirk trying to end the small giggles

"Yes well i have to agree with you, my grandmother seems to love it, ugly little things if ya ask me"
