I'm lost on the grounds of Hogwarts again. I went outside to find a nice place to get some Transfiguration reading done, but instead I am wandering aimlessly. This place is far, far too big!! I do not think I will ever quite understand how to get around the castle.

I turn a corner and see that white-haired boy leaning in the shadows. I walk towards him, and see that he is bleeding. I am concerned, but he does not seem to want anyone to bother him. . .

"I um-"

Okay, least I can do is not turn down the hanky. I take it and dab at the blood under my nose.

"-thanks..."

I clear my throat a little a rub a hand through my hair.

I can't help but smirk a little, giving the girl a sideways glance over my cigarette.

"Have you seen her, pet?"

No use in lying anyway...

I grin, playing with my unlit cigarette.
"You must really like her."

I offer her a light.

"she's not your average girl, alright...sorta makes a bloke wish he fit in."

Gryffindor don't carry on with Slytherin. I'd had that moral beat into my face today by a pack of quidditch players.

"It seems like she might not be looking for someone who fits in."

I light my cigarette, lazily taking a drag.
