I'm walking through the halls and eye a couple guys wandering by, wearing two inch heels and making a point to never cover my chest with the books clutched under my arm. My generous bosom is one advantage I have over more than ninety percent of the fourth year class, and I know it ( Read more... )

I see Samantha waving and look behind me. Nobody is there. I turn back. I guess she must be waving at me. I walk over to her. "Hi, Samantha, how are you?" I ask, smiling at her.

I smile back and tuck my books under my arm.

"Feeling good, you?"

It strikes me as very strange that I feel more at ease around this kid than any of my regular friends. It's a feeling I crave though, a general feeling of comfort like the way I feel hanging around with Fox.

"I'm feeling really good, actually." I tell her, pushing my glasses up on my nose. "I've been much happier here as of late. Must be all the lovely people I have been meeting." I smile at her broadly. This year has been such an adventure so far, I find myself almost giddy with anticipation.

I grin at the obvious compliment and raise an eyebrow at him.

"oh yeah, I've seen you romancing the redheads 'round here..."

Everybody's bound to be pairing up soon, dances ahead, it's about that time of the year when I take out my little black book. But for some reason I haven't yet this year, I haven't really been dating at all...

"I defenitley don't. I haven't seen him in days."

I realize my nose went up in the air during that sentence and stifle the impulse to make a little "humpf" sound. I don't chase boys around, whether they're nicely shaped or not.

"Oh, alright." I say smoothly. Me thinks the lady doth protest too much, I think to myself. "I'll ask one of the professors for his schedule, I'm sure we can find him. If not in class I would hazard a guess that he will be outdoors after sunset illicitly smoking those foul cigarettes." I tell her. "Perhaps one of us should check outside later?" I wonder if she will jump at the chance to volunteer first.

"I'll be around out there anyway, patroling. If I run into him maybe I'll mention it."

Although a common result of ignoring me for two days is a big old cold shoulder. Why should he expect any different? because his eyes are so blue of his cheekbone are so high or his arms are so thick? my foot. He'll get nothing from me.

"Well, sounds like a plan then." I smile at Samantha. "This is going to be fun." We arrive at my classroom. "So, I will see you later on then, perhaps we will both run into Spike." I give her a wave and go into the classroom before the professor scolds me for being late.
