is it entirely possible that we can't seperate the person we were from the person we've become, or at least not entirely? we grow up at our own paces on our own time. some of us enter this new realm of college, and are surprised by the immaturity of it all, the surrealness of the reality that somehow exists. so as much as we assimilate and or innovate ourselves with those around us, it's entirely possible that, in doing so, we're losing a piece of what we were or should be. once you reach that conclusion you realize that the facade surrounding this our "frosh" year is nothing more than a pillow breaking the fall of those who need it. it's a way for those who are not ready for total independence can go away, and return home, changed, but not entirely. is it possible that many of those in college have forgotten those people of their childhood and teenage years in an attempt to become something better? why let go of everything to change everything.
