I'm an American expat living in Germany and I have a 1-year-old son who I bring to local playgroups. One of the other moms, Cinnamon, is very kind, nice, and working on her education, but not really smart

That is a little surprising--since I'm also used to Europeans knowing a lot about the US and Canada--but amusing nonetheless.

I'm glad she's at least working on her education, and I'm really glad to see you sharing some anecdotes on here. :)
