Yesterday afternoon I discovered a yellow jacket infestation in my apartment. Pretty fucking scary. Frank and Kathryn came to my rescue, and Frank killed several of them. Went to Target in search of non-black skirts to wear for work and fit into a size medium dress and skirt. That felt awesome, like all this exercise is finally starting to pay off.

Ever since I updated my Facebook and MySpace accounts to show that Britt and I are engaged, I've been getting tons of ads for wedding-related stuff. The one that is the most persistent on Facebook is about a lazy bride who still lost weight and I can learn her secrets. Gee thanks Facebook for assuming I'm a fat ass without even seeing my love -

I'm watching the season finale of Lost. Right in the middle of the damn scene, two commercials come on, then it goes back to the scene. I missed like a minute of the conversation, which, if you watch this show at all you understand, is probably super important. God damn you, ABC!!! -

My dad and Tony went to go golfing this morning and hydroplaned on the highway and hit the guard rail. Everyone is ok, but my dad's car is probably totaled. -
I'm a role model?
Tomorrow I am going to Fort Middle School for a career fair to talk about what it is like to be a lawyer. Molly came over, and we made a tri-board for the fair. I basically have to sit at the table and wait for kids to come by. I'm not sure how inspiring I can be, but I'll give it a shot. At least making the display was fun!
