Author’s Notes: My third fic!!! YATTA! Justine-sama, this is for you, by you. The title was inspired from TOMB RAIDER and the story itself was inspired from DNangel...:D
Summary: Jin and Kazuya are partners in stealing very special artifacts. They work for an organization called Illuminati.But one day, Kazuya thought that Jin betrayed him that caused his death. When they were reincarnated, Kazuya used Ryu, to kill Jin's reincartion, Hayato.
Later that afternoon, Hayato was on his way home but suddenly, Junno, Koki, Ueda and Maru blocked his way.
"Huh?" Hayato mouthed and stopped walking and scratches the left corner of his lips with his left index finger.
"Hayato, catch this," Junno threw a small red box to Hayato; Hayato managed to catch it.
"What's this?" Hayato asked.
"Just open it," Koki said, "you're the only one capable of opening and contorlling it."
"W-wait, what are you guys?" Hayato questioned.
"We are like what's inside you," Maru answered.
"Inside me?" Hayato tried to act as innocent as he can.
"Yes, Jin. He's inside you right? Because I can't read your mind anymore," Junno said.
"Jin, is okay?" Hayato ased through his mind.
"Ask them first if they are the guardians" Jin answered.
"Uh... are you the guardians?" Hayato asked the four.
"Yes, we are phantoms, ordered by our organization to be Jin and Kazuya's guardians," Ueda answered.
"Jin. what will I do?" Hayato asked.
"Do whatever you think is right" Jin answered.
"Uh, yes, Jin's me, c-can you see him?" Hayato said.
"No, but we can see him if he'll let us see him," Koki replied.
Then Jin appeared to the four.
"So, you're our guardians, tall-guy, you're their leader right? the Phantom of Life" Jin asked.
"Hai, Junnosike Taguchi"
"Baldy, Phantom of Earth?"
"Koki Tanaka desu, and even if you're one od the strongest phantoms, I won't let you call me baldy!"
"Fish lips, are you the Phantom of Death?"
"Don't call me fish lips! My name's Tatsuya Ueda!"
"And last, Phantom of Wind,"
'Hai, Yuichi Nakamaru"
"What's inside that box my other self is holding? I can't let him open it unless I assure that Hayato will be safe,"
"It's you fire stone," Junno answered.
"Prove it first, show yours," Jin demanded.
"Hai, Life stone" Junno called his stone and a white stone appeared from his hand.
"Earth stone," a gold stone came out of Koki's palm.
"Death stone," black stone from Ueda
"Wind stone," a silver stone from Maru's palm appeared.
"Hayato, you can open it now" Jin approved.
"H-hai"
"Call its name, like what they did,"
"Hai, Fire stone," Hayato called, then the box opened and a red stone came out of it. It floated and entered Hayato's body, "A-aah.... it's.. hot!"
"Jin embraced Hayato's back to share the pain, "Hayato, this'll lessen the heat, tell me if the heat is gone if the heat is getting worse."
"Junno, get ready, he might get injured." Maru said.
"Hai!"
"A..ahh... it's burning me..." Hayato can't take the pain and kneeled on the ground and kinking because of hte pain.
"Hayato..." Jin absorbed the pain from Hayato's body, "argg... ah..."
After a few moments, Hayato finally managed to control the fire stone.
"I...I'm okay now..." Hayato said and sat.
"Are you feeling anything that hurts in your body?" Junno approached Hayato.
"A... bit, in my head," Hayato answered.
Junno held Hayato's head lightky and a white light came from Junno's hand and healed Hayato.
"How are you feeling now?" Junno asked.
"Better," Hayato answered.
"Good, we'll take care of you, don't worry," Junno said.
"Thanks for healing Hayato," then Jin disappeared.
"Don't tell anyone about his Hayato okay?" Maru said, "we can't afford to expose ourselves especially to Kazuya"
"H-hai"
"Thanks, you should go home now"
