Author’s Notes: inspired from the comic i was doing now entitled SMILES...
~Jin's flashback~
"Ne, Ryu, can we meet?" Jin asked to the person he was talking through the phone.
"So sudden, is it an emergency?" Ryu questioned.
"There's... uh... Just meet me at the field."
Jin hung the phone and get dressed. Ten minutes passed, Jin is already at their meeting place. It is a soccer field and near to it is a baseball field. He took a deep breathe, putting both hands inside his pockets while appreciating the nice weather with a smile on his lips.
"Jin!" Ryu shouted from behind, running towards Jin.
Jin turned around and expressed a wide smile from his lips for seeing his best friend.
"So, why did you call me so sudden? You know I have works to do on our store. Dad's gonna kill me for leaving it, it's a good thing mom's there."
"Uh... well..." Jin blushed.
"If you have nothing to say, I'll just go back now."
"Wait, Ryu... Can you please turn around and close your eyes?"
"For what?"
"Just do it," Jin insisted.
Ryu chuckled and did what Jin told him to do. Jin took out a necklace from his pocket and carefully wore it to Ryu.
"You can open your eyes now." Jin said.
Ryu held the necklace and looked at it. It's pendant is a key. but only the half part of the key.."What for?" Ryu asked.
"Well, let's just say... It's a symbol... of... our friendship," Jin answered, he felt that his cheeks are getting warmer and warmer, "you see my necklace here? It's the other half of the key."
"Where can we use this key?"
"It's for a box of our memories. We can put our memories in that box. We can only open it if the key is whole, it means, we have to be together. If we're gonna open it, we only have to put our memories there and not look at it."
"What kind of memories?"
"Uh.. pictures, letters, anything that can fit there."
"When can we take a look at our 'MEMORIES'?"
"Maybe, before we graduate senior high..."
Suddenly, tears went down from Ryu's eyes, "You jerk! You're making me emotional." Ryu pokes Jin's tummy.
"You can cry on me if you want."
Ryu embraced Jin very tight while crying. Jin returned the embrace too and the both felt each others warmth and the security from each other.
"Jin?"
"Yes?"
"We will always be together, right?"
"Of course we will."

Jin looked at his watch to know if lunch break is over, "Ten minutes more. Should I skip classes today? I don't really want to attend classes now, and I don't want to see him. But my stupid heart kepps on telling me to see him. Damn it! What should I do?"
The bell already rang for the end of lunch break. But Jin is nowhere to be found in their classroom. Kame's staring at Jin's desk thinking about what to do to make Jin happy. He's pretty confident because Jin's friends gave him full support and offered him that they will help whanever Kame needs their help. Their teacher for this period entered the classroom and started to check attendance, "Say 'hai' when I called your name. Aoi!"
"Hai!"
"Akanishi!"
No one answered and the teacher called again, "Akanishi!? Was Akanishi here in your morning classes?"
"Yes, he was here." Pi answered.
"Where's that Akanishi?... Well, I'll just mark him absent."
"Chotto matte kudasai!" Kame shouted, "I'll look for him, just don't mark him absent. Onegaishimasu! *bowed 90 degrees*" Kame begged.
"Ok, I'll give you fuve minutes to look for him. If after five minutes that the two of you are still not here, I'll mark the both of you absent, am I clear, Kamenashi?"
"Hai! Arigatou gozaimasu!" Kame bowed and left the room in a rush.
Kame decided to look at the rooftop hoping that Jin's still there. When Kame opened the door Jin's not there.
"Where is he?"
"Are you looking for me?" a voice from above asked.
"Are you Jin Akanishi?"
"Yeah," Jin replied, he's on the roof of the door, still staring at the sky, "and who are you to enter my dominion?"
"I'm the newby, Kamenashi. Our sensei is looking for you. I we don't return to the classroom within five minutes he'll mark us absent."
"Us? Why us?"
"Because I said that I'll look for you so he won't mark you absent."
"Tell him that I won't be attending class coz I don't feel very well."
"But... Jin?"
"Damn it! You're annoying me!" Jin jumped down from the roof, faced Kame and gave him a death glare, "who on earth gave you permission to call me by my name? Do you know that all students here respect me? Only my friends can call me Jin. Understood?"
"Hai, gome..." Kame lowered his head and felt so sad being yelled by Jin like that.
"You should return to that class now. You're running out of time, I don't want you to be marked absent because of me and blame it all to me after that."
"NO!" Kame insisted, "If you're going to be marked absent then I should be marked absent as well!"
"What the? Are you insane?"
"I won't go back there without you!"
"Crap..."
Five minutes passed anf the two of them are still not returning to class.
"Oh well, Kamenashi-kun and Akanishi-kun are still not here, they will be marked absent for today." the teacher said.
"Sorry for waiting!" Kame shouted, "we're here!"
"Good, take your sit now."
Jin entered the classroom with his hands in his pocket, frowning, and sat down.
"Wow, Kame convincef Jin." Junno whispered to Maru/
"Yeah, he's good." Maru replied with a whisper too.
"Ok, we'll start the class now."
The first day of the classes ended. Students talking what they will do and where to go, etc. Junno, Ueda and Koki are waiting for Jin and Maru to finish their Soccer team meeting.
"Is everyone here?" Maru asked the members.
"YES VICE-CAPTAIN!!!!"
"Good, Jin you may start now."
"I'll give you the schedule now for our practice. Our regular practice will me Tuesday and Thursday, but sometimes, we're going to have practice during Saturdays, I'll just announce you when will it be... Probably 2 weeks from now there will a practice on Saturday. Next week, we'll be having no practice."
A member raised a hand and asked, "Captain, why are we not going to have practice next week?"
"Because of the try-outs for students who want to join us. We're going to have a practice this Tuesday and Thursday, after school we'll immediately assemble here. Every time we have a Saturday practice, we'll be meeting here at exactly 10 am. Late members will be punished! Am I clear?"
"YES CAPTAIN!"
"Dismissed!"
Near the school gate, there were Junno, Ueda and Koki talking about Kame and what Kame did this afternoon to Jin.
"By the way, where's that Kame guy?" Koki asked.
"He went home in a hurry, he said he needs to watch their restaurant." Junno answered.
"What restaurant?" Ueda questioned.
"He said it's a Sushi Restaurant."
"Why don't we go there and check it out?" Koki suggested.
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Ueda agreed.
"But... how about Jin? Maru is not a problem because he'll surely come with us, but jin..." the worried Junno said.
"We'll just have to drag the crap out of him there if he rejected us." Koki replied.
"Yo!" Maru greeted, Jin's behind him.
"Hey. Maru, Jin, wanna come with us? We're going to a newly opened Sushi Restaurant, we decided to check it out." Junno said.
"Yeah, let's go there." Ueda added.
"I'll come!" Maru announced with excitement.
"How about you Jin?"
"Well, uh..." before Jin coild answer, Koki pulled him on his arm.
"No more 'Well, uh...', just come with us!"
Koki said.
On their way to the Sushi Restaurant.
"It should be somewhere here. There it is!" Junno shouted, "let's go guys! Hurry!"
Jin saw the sign above the entrance door of the restaurant, it said "Kamenashi no Sushi". Then, they entered the store.
"Irashaimase!!!" a familiar voice welcomed them.
They saw Kame cleaning the tables of the restaurant. Wearing white uniform of the restau and a logo of the restaurant printed on it, with a blue apron above his white pants. He's also wearing a sushi cook's hat and his hair is pony-tailed.
"Minna," Kame surpirsingly said, "w-what are you doing here?". He was more schocked when he saw Jin behind.
"That's not appropriate to say to your costumers," Maru joked.
Jin's stunned looking at Kame with his uniform and hair style. Then Kame smile at him that awakes his thoughts.
"Please sit. I'll get the menu for you." Kame offered.
The five sat near the counter and Kame handed them the menu. The five discussed what they want, but Jin is still not giving his order.
"Yo! Jin! What's your order?" Koki asked.
"Huh?"
"We'll be ordering the 'Choose What You Want' package, we already have four in our list, we only need yours." Maru explained.
"I know, I'm not an idiot. I'll choose Tamago."
Kame laughed a bit at Jin.
"What's funny?" Jin asked with irritation.
"Nothing, I just found that you're cute while day-dreaming." Kame answered.
"Stop it." Jin blushed.

A/N: thanks for the people who liked my first fanfiction, I'm giving my all to it. I'm planning to make a new one, I already have a plot but don't know when to start. My comic is still not done yet, and my readers are demanding for more *stressed*. I was so exhausted today, we had a surpirse quiz in math and planted plants in our PAA subject. then after that, I rode bike with my friends and hang out at the baseball field. We talked about Kame because of it...LOL!
