Disclaimer: i don't own the characters here... and the main idea, the main idea is justine-sama's and she requested to me that I right a fiction about it, so i don't own the main idea, i just own how the story will go to whatever she told me that will happen.
Author’s Notes: My third fic!!! YATTA! Justine-sama, this is for you, by you. The title was inspired from TOMB RAIDER and the story itself was inspired from DNangel...:D
Summary: Jin and Kazuya are partners in stealing very special artifacts. They work for an organization called Illuminati.
"Why me?!" Ryu complained.
"Because you have it Ryu..." Kazuya answered, "you have the mark of the water, same as mine."
"Curse you! Get out of my sight!"
"As for now Ryu, you know that I'm always in you, watching." Kazuya disappeared.
"Damn it... How on earth can I kill a person like Hayato?! I can't do that... I'm not a killer, I'm only Ryu! Just Ryu!"
It's been two weeks since Kazuya last talked to Ryu. Ryu felt a bit relieved for that, Because he really hates Kazuya, he wants to punch him, but every time he do that, his punches only go through. They're united as one, but they've been enemies since they first met.
"Ryu!" a man from behind shouted and suddenly hugged him.
"Huh?" he tried to look who was it, his heart started to pound crazy all of a sudden on the moment he saw that it was Hayato.
"Why are you absent yesterday? I got worried."
"I... I got headache, sorry if I didn't tell you," Ryu answered and thought, "having two minds and two souls in one body can cause sever headache, especially of your second soul is someone like Kazuya. Hayato, how I wish that Jin won't ever come to your life."
"Ok, it's a good thing that you're already fine." Hayato let go of Ryu and started walking beside him, "by the way, we had a draw to knwo who's our partners yesterday for our project in music,"
"Really? So who your partner?"
"You Ryu! Isn't that great?!"
"Yeah, it is," and he thought, "it's great if that bastard won't disturb me again."
"So, what are we going to sing Ryu?" Hayato asked.
"I'm... not that a good singer, so I'll probably choose an easy one."
"Don't worry, me too. Why don't we choose Kizuna?" Hayato suggested.
"Kizuna?"
"Yeah. The friendship song, come on, it's good."
"Sure, that would be fine."
Then they heard people arguing from behind.
"I'm telling you! We should sing Amazing Butterfly!"
"No! It doesn't suit me! I say Special Happiness!"
"Of all people why do I have to be partners with you?!"
"As if I like you being my partner?!"
It was Junno and Ueda.
"Would you please calm down?!" Maru said.
"How? This Ueda won't agree that we must sing Special Happiness!" Junno replied.
"What!? But I said it'll be Amazing Butterfly!" Ueda opposed.
"CHOTTO MATTE! Why don't you decide it through rock paper scissors?!" Koki suggested.
"Yeah, that would be a good idea, let's do this, once and for all," Junno challenged.
"Sure,"
"ROCK PAPER SCISSORS!" the two shouted.
Junno used scissor and paper for Ueda.
"Yatta! I won! We'll sing Special Happiness!" Junno celebrated.
"Cheater, I've always wanted Amazing Butterfly because of its..." before Ueda could finish his sentence, Junno finished Ueda's sentence for him.
"...because of its Latin and Spanish thing there."
"JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI!! WILL YOU PLEASE STOP FINISHING MY SENTENCE!? I SHOULD BE THE ONE DOING THAT!?" Ueda shouted.
"But I'm just saying what's IN your mind."
"Ohayou, minna." Hayato greeted.
"Ohayou Hayato" the three replied.
"Ryu, what's your song?" Maru asked.
"Uh... Kizuna," Ryu replied.
When they got to school, Hayato asked Ryu about something.
"Practice?"
"Yeah Ryu, when and where?"
"We can do it everyday, but where?"
"We can practice in my place. What do you think? That's only three blocks away from here."
"Sure, why not."
"Good morning class, take out your notebook, you're going to copy notes. By the way, who's absent?" the teacher said.
"No one sensei," one of the classmates answered.
"Okay, good."
Hayato quickly took his notebook and pen, and started writing. On the meantime, Ryu's staring at Hayato again. He can't help it, staring at Hayato's face is very addictive.
"Is there something wrong with my face?" Hayato asked while writing.
"Uh... ehh.. No, nothing." Ryu answered and immediately turned his attention to his notes.
"I just noticed it... you've been staring at me, so I thought that there's a dirt at my face or something."
"Not really," then Ryu thought, "it's just, your face is so perfect."
"Don't fall for him Ryu, remember you have to kill him." Kazuya whispered.
"GET LOST!" Ryu told Kazuya in his mind.
"Sure, but I'll come back again and again."
The classes now ended Ryu and Hayato went straight to Hayato's house.
"Mom, I'm home," Hayato said.
"Welcome home, ow... Who's this young man with you?"
"He's Ryu, my classmate. We're going to practice here for our presentation next week."
"Ryu Odagiri desu," Ryu bowed.
"I'm Hayato's mom, nice to meet you,"
"We'll practice in my room, let's go Ryu,"
"Okay," Ryu bowed again to Hayato's mom and followed Hayato.
Hayato's room.
"Sorry, my room's not very big," Hayato apologized.
"No need to apologize, your room is really cute," and then he thought, "but your cuter Hayato."
"Really? Thanks"
"Is that you dad? *points to a picture on the wall* " Ryu asked.
"Yeah, but he's in LA now, working. Shalle we start?"
"Sure"
Hayato placed his I-pod to his I-pod speaker and played Kizuna.
"You'll sing the first verse, we'll sing together in all choruses except the last, because I'll be you second voice, and in the second verse, I will sing, is that okay for you?" Hayato asked.
"Yup, do you have the lyrics?"
"Hai, here."
They started singing. They both discovered each others talent in singing. It was going pretty well but Kazuya started to whisper to Ryu.
"Kill him Ryu... Kill him..." Kazuya told Ryu.
"Shut up!" Ryu suddenly shouted.
"Huh? Ryu?" the confused Hayato asked and thought, "he told me to shut up? Did I made a mistake in the song? Does Ryu hates me now?"
Sadness came out of Hayato's face.
"Hayato... I... I didn't mean to... There's just something that came into my mind," Ryu explained.
"It's okay, I understand," then Hayato smiled again.
After one week, it's already the day of their presentation. Hayato's pretty confident that they will get high marks because they rehearsed for it many times and the bleding of their voices seems to be perfectly made for each other. Hayato's looking at the mirror, doing the button of his uniform and fixing his hair. He ate his breakfast, then after that he headed to their school. Whe he arrived, he looked for Ryu in their room.
"Junno, where's Ryu?' Hayato asked.
"He's still not here, I wonder why. But he should be here by now." Junno answered.
"Ok, thanks."
Their music theacher was already there at the classroom, but Ryu was still nowhere to be found.
"Crap, where's Ryu?" Hayato thought and started to feel nervous.
"Maru, where's Ryu? Hayato's getting worried." Junno whispered
"I don't know," Maru answered.
"Ok, we'll be having our song presentation today. I'll start with Taguchi and Ueda, please go to the front." the teacher said.
"Hai!" the two answered.
After singing Special Happiness, Hayato's very nervous now because Ryu's still not there.
"Next is, Tanaka and Nakamaru,"
"Hai!"
They stood in front of the class.
"We're gonna sing, One On One," Koki said
Maru made a gesture of his hand as if he's riding a motorcycle.
"Brooom... broom broom.. Beatbox *beatboxing*"
Their classmates were all astonished with how good Maru's beatbox is, and Koki accompanied it with his rap. After performing, their classmates are all clapping.
"Bravo!" their teacher praised, "now let's hear Yabuki and Odagiri,"
Hayato's trembling and nervous but he still went in front of the class and said, "I... I don't have... a partner,. Then their classmates laughed that made Hayato wishes that the ground will open and swallow him because of embarassment, the only people that didn't laugh were Junno, Koki, Ueda and Maru.
"Where's Odagiri?" the teacher asked.
"Sensei... I don't know... I haven't seen him yet," Hayato answered
"Ok, we'll just proceed to the next performers, we'll wait for Odagiri. If Odagiri won't show up until the end of this period, I'll mark you zero."
"Hai, arigatou," Hayato bowed and went back to his sit.
Meanwhile, Odagiri residence.
"Nnn..." Ryu moane, trying to open his eyes and looked at his clock, "Shit! It's already 7:24! I'm late! Darn that Kazuya didn't make me sleep last night!"
Ryu changed to his uniform, took his guitar, didn't ate his breakfast and ran to school. When he reached their classroom, the teacher was already left.
"Ryu's here" Ueda whispered to Hayato.
Hayato looked rampant, he didn't even looked at Ryu.
"I'll just go to my locker, I forgot something," Hayato told Ueda.
"Ok,"
Ryu followed Hayato with his sight. He quickly put his guitar aside and ran after Hayato to his locker.
"Hayato!" Ryu called, "anou..."
Hayato slammed his locker's door and locked it.
"Thanks for not coming! I really appreciate it being marked ZERO for the first time in my life and being embarassed!" Hayato yelled that caught some student's attention.
Hayato walked away really fast from Ryu but Ryu tried to follow him and grab Hayato's arm.
"Don't touch me!" Hayato shouted, slapped Ryu's face and walked away.
Ryu wasn't able to do anything more but to stand there and watch Hayato disappear from his sight.

YATTA!!!! but our finals is 2 weeks from now... huhuhuhu!!!!! anyways, i can always sneak to use my laptop during night... hahaha!!!! so maybe i will be still able to post fanfics...:D
