[Life] Portraits of home

Yesterday I went for a walk. Actually, I was walking home from downtown, but kept walking past my house instead of stopping. It was nice out and I felt like seeing if there was anything interesting.

A dog sticking it's nose out of a shattered glass window.
A dusty classic car, covered in tattered fabric blowing around in the wind.
A small asian girl on a tricycle--- I wondered if she plays piano.
Trees growing around power lines.
A house, graffiti'd on the side; "SUSTENANCE FOR ALL"
A house that used to be there, but isn't anymore.
A couch in someone's lawn--- on it: a tiny shoe, a remote control from another millenium, a random piece of trash.

Then I found...

a pile of something in the distance, close to a pole for power lines. Upon closer inspection, it was a pile of someone's old mix tapes they threw out on the street. In my neighbourhood, people throw things out into the sidewalk a lot, incase anyone wants to take it before it gets thrown out.

The tapes are really wet, and I'm not sure if they will work if I try to play them. There's a few CDs as well, and a set of 4 floppy disks. They are all drying on some newspaper on the floor right now.

More about this find later...
