This is kinda late, but I owe people some pictures. I haven't posted anyone else' pictures here other than myself, Amanda Palmer and strangers because I wish to keep this a public post.
Explanations will follow.
My sister just moved to this place, and I think it's really beautiful.
This should be my motto in life, always.
I blame David Arquette and Tom Selleck for my sudden interest in mustaches. (the other day, I have a twitter chat with a tv reviewer about Tom Selleck's mustache. The best tweets I have ever seen).
I'm going to have this Sue Sylvester poster over my bed. Jealous? I know. What? You are not 16 anymore? no kidding.
I have gotten this incredibly awesome and child like hat at my favorite store ever, in Harvard square (where the people who work there almost know my name!) called Hootnanny.
Cabaret. You weren't allowed to take pictures. That's right, I'm a rebel. People who tell of themselves as rebels, are in fact not such. I know.
Sigh. I already miss these shows so much.
The bathrooms at the Oberon Club, even they were sent back to the 1930's.
This was on the table at A.R.T Cabaret donors night (the first show I attended). Very cool.
I'm flaunting my orange bracelet in public, as this is what one wears when one is finally allowed to go in and see A.R.T Cabaret.
This is me flaunting my awesome A.R.T merchandise (damn, i wish i'd been more greedy and gotten more stuff. lol)
The next day when we tried to get into A.R.T Cabaret again (and didn't make it) we decided to dress up accordingly. I wore my semi 40s black dress, and those blue leggings. I thought I was gorgeous, so I took pictures of myself.
We did however, got to see Amanda Fucking Palmer Late Fucking Cabaret and it was amazing. I never want to forget that day either.
I tried taking pictures of Amanda with my phone that night. But I think she is a vampire, as she GLOWED in everyone of them and nothing turned out clear!
Meanwhile. If it wasn't clear yet, I am obsessed with the 20's-30's (and somewhat 40's). I love the films, the fashion, the art, the culture, the madness (not the war though). I also love the design, especially Art Deco. My sister has a movie theater close to her house, that was built in the 20's and is fully art deco IN EVERYTHING. Not only it was built Art Deco, but it had stayed this way. There are almost no places like this place in the world. It's absolutely freaking amazing being there and watching anything.
Fishies in a russian food store. Poor poor fishies. There's a story to tell, not for a public entry though.
On that russian food store day, we found two really cool vintage, or vintage inspired design (new clothes, that look like vintage) stores one next to the other, and in one of them were the cutest poodles you have ever seen. Okay, surely the cutest ones I've seen, Anyways, this one was busy with a bone.
A really cool and freaky house we ran into in Brookline (near Boston), of all places.
The first thing I've seen in the second I went off the bus in NYC (WOOHOO!).
I don't quite remember where or why I took this photo, but I like it regardless.
The amazing
hihoplastic,
blue_frizzante and me went to union square and there was a Suckot design competitions (suckot are like a jewish tent things that you are supposed to sit and sleep in during the suckot holiday, FYI). And they were interesting.
LA CAGE BUS. Oh the memories, the memories...
No visit at NYC is perfect without going to Crumbs, west village.
This really awesome vintage clothes store in the east village, not only has clothes separated by decades, but also have actually FASHION PICKS from people like Joey Arias (!!!!!), Michael Musto and others. SO FREAKING AWESOME.
Next to Normal stage. You weren't allowed to take pictures there either. I am bad, I'm telling you, BAD. I didn't like it though. Sorry. For me musicals are only relevant when it has a bit of camp, a bit of fun and is a bit over the top. A musical drama? really? not for me. Sorry.
Regardless, what was really cool was afterwards when I passed Times Square I ran into this AWESOME. AWESOME Cougar Town flashing signs. Awesome.
Meanwhile, in Boston again, getting dressed accordingly to try (and succeed) to see A.R.T Cabaret again. And the Late night Cabaret as well.
After the main show, I ran outside to be second in line for the late night show. This was what happened behind me.
Some pictures of Amanda from the late show that night. The rest are here:

Sorry for being such a lousy friend. I am not worthy. Really.
