Shou was frustrated.
He had been trying for weeks to get Hiroto to realize that he liked him, but Hiroto was not picking up on any of his advances. Shou had tried everything. He walked Hiroto home every night after practice, he took him out for dinner and always paid for the both of them. He even bought Hiroto the expensive necklace that he had seen the other look at longingly as they walked back to the guitarist’s apartment one night. But Hiroto just didn’t seem to get it, Shou wasn’t just trying to be a good friend, he was trying to show the other how much he really liked him.
The others had all noticed what Shou was trying to do and were wondering just how dense Hiroto could get. But even though they felt bad for Shou, they didn’t want to interfere. They were just waiting for the time when Shou would gain the confidence he needed to confess to Hiroto on his own.
At the moment, Shou was sitting at the bar of the club he was at. The band had just finished the first live of their new tour and decided to go to the club down the street from the venue for an after-party. Shou was sitting alone, wondering just how far he would have to go to get Hiroto to understand what he was trying to convey through his actions.
Shou had thought that if he did a lot of fanserivce with the small guitarist during the live that he would finally understand. So throughout the live Shou walked over to Hiroto’s side of the stage, he leaned against the other as he sang, he ran his hand across the other’s shoulders as he walked past him, he hugged the energetic man from behind and nuzzled his neck. He even kissed Hiroto! Not a quick peck on the lips, but a real kiss, involving lots of tongue and screaming fangirls. But nothing Shou did seemed to make Hiroto realize that Shou wasn’t just pleasing the fangirls, he was also pleasing himself.
Shou was on his second beer by the time Hiroto wandered over to where he was sitting. Climbing up onto the barstool next to Shou, Hiroto glanced at the vocalist’s drink before scoffing.
“What?” Shou asked.
“You’re drinking beer? You should have something better than beer!” Hiroto exclaimed, waving the bartender over.
“Pon, you know I’m a lightweight.” Shou protested. But he was ignored by the other.
“Can we have two Jägerbombs?” Hiroto asked the bartender when he approached. The man nodded before moving off to fix the drinks.
Shou’s eyes widened, “Pon, I don’t think that’s such a good idea...”
“Shh! You deserve to let loose for once!” Hiroto exclaimed as the bartender brought back their drinks. He handed Shou one of the glasses, grabbing the other for himself. “On three!” Hiroto chirped as he raised his glass, Shou reluctantly copying the move. “One, two, three!” Hiroto counted, both men downing the drinks on the count of three.
Hiroto slammed his glass back down on the counter, smacking his lips before licking the last of the drink off of them. Turning to look at Shou he saw the vocalist sway lightly. Hiroto covered his mouth so Shou would not see the smile that graced his face. Laughing internally at Shou’s low tolerance for alcohol he stood up, grabbing Shou’s arm. “Let’s go dancing!” Hiroto exclaimed pulling the vocalist toward the dance floor.
Forcing his way through the throng of people, Hiroto guided Shou to the middle of the floor before turning around to face the taller man. Reaching up, Hiroto wrapped his arms around Shou’s shoulders as he started to sway his hips to the beat of the music. Shou stared at the other, shocked. Was this really happening? Hiroto was dancing with him? Shou swallowed heavily as Hiroto’s hips lightly brushed against his leg.
Hiroto looked up at Shou, pouting at Shou for just standing there. Moving his arms, Hiroto grabbed the vocalist’s arms and forcefully wrapped them around his waist. Then the small guitarist moved his arms back around the other’s shoulder as he shouted, “Dance!”
Shou’s mind had blanked when Hiroto put his arms around his waist, so he followed the other’s command without a second thought. Moving his hips in the same rhythm as Hiroto, Shou let himself get lost in the atmosphere. Hiroto smiled as Shou started to move, glad that the other didn’t freak out at the idea of dancing with another man. Hiroto loved dancing but he didn’t like to do so alone, and he didn’t want to go ask some random woman to dance with him. He considered asking the other members, but none of them really liked to dance, so he picked Shou as his victim.
Swaying his hips faster as the beat of the music picked up, Hiroto moved closer to Shou, lost in the sound of the music and the atmosphere of the club. He was close enough to Shou that their groins brushed teasingly against each other with each movement, and it was driving the taller man crazy. Pulling the guitarist closer he started grinding into the smaller man, too drunk to realize what he was doing. Hiroto was surprised at first but just went along with it, he just wanted to have fun.
The way Hiroto moved his hips was starting to make Shou lose control. The vocalist couldn’t help but to let out a low moan as he ran his hands down the guitarist’s back, leavning them resting in the back pockets of Hiroto’s jeans, once again forcing the guitarist closer to him. Hiroto was starting to wonder just how drunk Shou was and was about to ask him if he wanted to sit down, but then he felt something hard pressed against his hip.
Shou was hard.
Eyes widened as Hiroto’s mind finally started to put the pieces together. Shou had been acting extra nice to him, Shou had been nervous about dancing with him before the alcohol kicked in, Shou had been all over him on stage at the live just a few hours ago.
Shocked, Hiroto forced his way out of Shou’s arms before grabbing the other’s wrist and dragging him off of the dance floor. Pushing through the crowd of people Hiroto and Shou finally made it off of the dance floor. Looking around and not catching sight of any of his bandmates, Hiroto started to pull Shou towards the exit of the club. He was determined to find out just what was going through Shou’s mind.
After making it back to the hotel, thanks to a taxi that Hiroto had hailed once stepping outside of the club, the guitarist led Shou to the room they both happened to be sharing. Once inside the room, Hiroto guided the slightly drunk vocalist to one of the beds, pushing the other down onto it. He watched Shou lightly bounce on the mattress from the force of the fall, causing the drunk man to giggle.
“Shou-kun?” Hiroto whispered, as he sat next to the other.
Shou turned to Hiroto, a silly smile spread across his face before he attacked the guitarist with a sloppy hug. “Hiroto-kun!” Shou exclaimed with a giggle. “I’m so glad you’re here!”
“Why is that Shou-kun?” Hiroto asked, wondering if this was when Shou was going to confess his feelings.
“Because you’re awesome!” Shou stated with a bright smile as he hugged the guitarist tighter to him, then pressing a kiss to the smaller man’s cheek. “And cause I love you~” the vocalist sang as he nuzzled his face against Hiroto’s neck.
Hiroto smiled at the vocalist’s behavior. “You love me, Shou-kun?” he questioned, wondering if Shou meant what he was saying.
“Mhm,” the vocalist mumbled as he snuggled closer to Hiroto, a large yawn escaping him.
“Time for bed, Shou-kun,” Hiroto said as he pulled the other’s shoes off. Shou let him do so without complaint and then allowed Hiroto to maneuver him so that he was lying under the covers. Hiroto smiled and brushed the hair out of Shou’s face before starting to move away from the bed, but not getting far as the vocalist had a tight grip on his arm.
“Don’t leave me,” Shou murmured, a frown gracing his features.
“I need to go to sleep too Shou-kun,” Hiroto stated, trying to pry the fingers off of his arm.
“Sleep with me!” Shou commanded as he pulled roughly on Hiroto’s arm, causing the small man to fall onto the bed. “Please?” Shou pouted up at the other, his large eyes widening for emphasis.
Hiroto sighed as he slipped off his own shoes. “Okay,” he whispered as he laid next to Shou, the vocalist moving closer to cuddle against his side. Soon the two drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
The next morning Hiroto woke up to find Shou still buried in his side. Hiroto shifted lightly, trying not to wake the other up, but in vain. Shou’s eyes opened and then slammed shut before he buried his face in Hiroto’s chest. “Too bright,” the vocalist moaned.
Hiroto smiled, apparently Shou had a bit of a hangover from last night. “Are you feeling okay, Shou-kun?” Hiroto whispered, not wanting to talk too loud, in case Shou had a headache.
“Not too bad,” Shou murmured. “My head doesn’t hurt really bad.”
“Good,” Hiroto stated.
“Pon?” Shou called softly.
“Yes, Shou-kun?”
“...I meant it when I said I loved you.”
“I know you did Shou-kun.”
Shou looked up at Hiroto, startled. But all the guitarist did was smile.
“I figured it out last night. You grinding up on me at the club knocked some sense into me.”
Shou blushed. “Oh my god, I’m sorry Pon. I was drunk and--”
“Hush! It’s okay Shou. I like you too,” Hiroto smiled at the other.
“You do?” Shou smiled.
“Uhuh,” Hiroto replied, also smiling. Moving a hand up to the vocalist’s neck he started to play with the other’s hair. “You know what?”
“What?”
“This,” Hiroto said before leaning in and capturing Shou’s lips in a sweet, tender kiss.
