new job

i just wanted to tell anyone who is interested to hear that i got a new job! hell yeah! no more overnights or papers! horray for me! it pays good to and had great benefits and tuition reimbursement and LOTS of room for advancement, and since i will be buying a house in st. charles, it will be only about 10 minutes away, so im really really excited

at interface security in earth city. its pretty freaking sweet so far! im really excited about it!

I applied there, after getting a mysterious phone call from them while I was at work. I called them back and they said they had no record of calling me. It took a minute before I realized maybe you referred me, but when I mentioned that that could have been the case, they said, "Maybe. Have a nice day." and hung up, instead of transferring me to someone who would know.

Anyway, I will probably try to call them again next week. I was going to this week, but ended up being busy and forgot.

that is weird. if yo were working and have an alarm system with them, that could have been why they were calling. i think that they are still hiring. you need to talk to kevin in the secure operations center. just so ya know all operators work 12 hour shifts, but your two days on, 3 off, 3 days on, two days off. its pretty cool. so you only end up working 15 days a month and every other week you have friday, saturday and sunday off. plus they have awesome benefits and stuff. i believe they are still hiring if your interested.
