Any Lapiz Lazuli Requests?

Now I know this is odd. This isn't the sort of thing I would normally ever do because for me a story is my baby. I tend to know the universe a story is written in inside and out, perfectly within ten minutes of figuring it out. I don't always know what scenes will be there but the whole universe just kind of shines through in my head regardless.

But ( Read more... )

that.
i know you have hard time to write and somehow, when you post that sneak peek, i'm curious.
the previous LL fic and the sequel doesn't include how Jin and Kame meet. only Jin's vision of how they'll have relationship and swear, you're a good teaser for making me curious about how exactly the relationship begins.
and you post abt Jin got fever and Kame came to visit him. i am so wondering abt the previous scenes to complete the story. like how Kame knows Jin later. how they be friend and start the relationship. how Jin ensures Kame abt his vision of their relationship.
but well, i'm all to read any scenes you already wrote anyway.
and will poke you till the end until you post it and later, will poke you for another story as well XDD
good luck, bb.
ask me anything :))

The sequel basically picks up where Lapis Lazuli leaves off. Lapis Lazuli is their first meeting, and Selenite is the events leading up to LL, basically how Jin came to be where and what he is but Amethyst is everything that happens after LL.

I mean, LL is basically ONLY Jin and Kame's first meeting, when Jin saves him from being mobbed in Ginza and they talk afterwards. But Amethyst is basically how they progress from that point to their relationship (which is a rocky road, I will say).

I honestly am not sure if you want to know what leads up to Kame going to Jin's apartment for the first time when he's sick. It's not a very happy lead-up if we're going to be completely honest.

I'm curious if there's anything other than those two things you want to know? Even if it's not about them but just the world it's set in etc?

well, maybe abt Kame who finally knows Jin's power??
like Jin is special, right?
and i think, like what his parents did, not everyone can accept Jin with his power. so, how Kame deals with it is an interesting thing.
and Jin and Kame, both of them are famous. Jin with his business and Kame as an artist. it'll be nice to know abt the story too.
then if i'm not mistaken (i should read this fic again, and i won't be bored, trust me) Jin had prepared special stone for Kame. that's too... :)

Yes, Kame does find out just how far Jin's powers go. That actually, in part, leads up to the scene you were talking about, I think. I have so many notes that are handwritten and on my HD that it hard to keep track of what goes where.

But yeah, it is going to be interesting, I think, to see how Kame responds.

Jin's parents also have the benefit that they both are magic users, so there are a lot of mages, at least a decent amount, so it's not necessarily hard for people to accept Jin but at the same time... most people don't know that he can see glimpses of the future. People knowing would be too much ( ... )

Just stumble onto this LL. Can you tell me which of the two posted should I begin with. There is a prequel, then chapter 1 and chapter 2 (which is the same as the prequel). I really am interested in this and your sneek peak for the sequel sounds interesting (as well as some of the comments here.) Thanks.

Of course I can! The reason it's set up like that is because they haven't been posted in order. The Lapis Lazuli series is a trilogy. They aren't really chapters but because that's how my masterlist was set up I called them that on that list.

Lapis Lazuli was posted first and is the second part of the trilogy BUT you read it first.

Selenite is the prequel, the first part of the trilogy. It wasn't meant to be a prequel it was actually going to be just the opening for sequel to LL but then it kept growing and became its own part. But it is still intended to be read after Lapis Lazuli.

So start with this one: http://ayame-magic.livejournal.com/5405.html

And then read: http://ayame-magic.livejournal.com/5307.html

(I don't think the link at the end of Lapis Lazuli to Selenite is working... I might be wrong but just to be safe use these links ^^;).

Sorry that got really long @.@
