I'm So Indecisive

Do I really want to go to UCLA for graduate school? Is it worth it?  Is a Masters Degree really going to help me in my future?

Is it a smarter decision to go for something more practical? Maybe get certified for some position in a growing field?

I can't decide what I want to do...I don't know what's good for me.

Well, at the risk of sounding like an afterschool special... What do you want to do? Forget practicality. Ideally, what would you like to be doing five or ten years from now? Then figure out if implementing that has a price you're willing to pay (in terms of time, money, etc) and then, if it's not too high, go for it.

As long as what you want isn't to overthrow your father's corrupt rule and bring about peace to the world in the most distressing way possible, I think you'll be fine. ^-^

Welcome to the club! *dies* ;.; I've had bosses with masters and interviewers who cared about masters, and I've also had a lot of coworkers with masters who it was completely useless for. And I've had bosses with no masters who are doing quite well.

The better question is, what is this masters in and do you really care about that subject? Whatever you do, don't get a masters for the sake of having a masters, it won't do you any good.

Certifications are always good, at least you can aim for a specific job and see where it takes you. You never know what'll be interesting. :3
