I just got off the phone, more or less 3/4 of an hour ago with the lady who's my contact with the Art Institute in Vancouver. She, my parents and I had a LONG talk about the school, the concerns my parents had, that I had, what the school has to offer and all that

Don't be scared, just pray. I'm sure your mother will see things without her eyes, but with her heart, that you really really need this in your life. But then again, getting parents to see what's really best for you is like moving a lake with a spoon full of holes.
