I suppose yaoi, for me, is one of the things I can never really understand. Well, I would include Japanese tentacle hentai because that stuff has beena round for ages, way back to the 1700s. But back to yaoi, I wodner if the frustration has to be vented out if the guy was still... 'a guy'. Alright, that last part didn't make sense,a nd I guess I'm more of the softcore type. Even if it's boys love (and the closest I've had to a gay option was in a game I played recently. I shall simply say that, if a person did really like another person, then gender isn't really an issue. But of course, it always get more complicated. Just wanted to throw my two bits worth here

Yeah, I understand. I think it works the same with gay men too... Just like the guys who like futanari... it is one of those psychological things... they like it because it is two women, but at the same time is is a way to vent frustration. But I dunno, yaoi is just... merh.
Depends on the teacher really. Yeah, it is scary, I was so nervous starting college... but you already have the independence thing down... it'll just be getting used to being back in school and all that @_@

Lucky Star rocks. Only problem is the Haruhi pimpin' KyoAni is doing my other then that, the series can stand on its own.
I have to do a full entry very, VERY soon, though at the moment I can't since I had a slightly bad day.
Nevertheless, if you're interested, I'd recommend Higurashi no naku Koro ni, both the visual novel and the anime if you still remember Elfen Lied (there are some bits I didn't like about Higrasuhi, but the other bits weren't bad) Then again, that's about a year old....
My recommendations would have to depend on the genre and art style. I fyou want psuedo-realism, aka Cowboy Bebop style, i got two, if you want something close to haruhi Suzumiya but not exactly Haruhi Suzumiya, I also got two, and if you want movies..... I got three. No, make that four, unless you're watched Cowboy Bebop the movie. If not, I ahve three, great anime movies to recommend.

Yeah! We haven't gotten to watch much though since we have a group of three of us watching we want everyone together to continue with it. I've seen some really funny parodies for it now, there was one with the theme music set to a trailer for 300 (It is a few entires back, the title of the entry is actually 'Darling Darling Please!' and Richie left it as a comment. Another was a youtube video where someone did a 'fan translation' that's pretty funny. If you want it I'll find it for you ^_^

Oh! I have the first episode of Higurashi but I haven't really watched it yet. It really looks like something I would like though!
Well, I downloaded 5 cm per Second so I need to watch that for movies... right now I've been needing a more comedic edge for my anime... but I like pseudo-realistic too... just whatever has struck you as being the best ^_^
