Everyone was buzzing with excitement. After more than a year and a half, Jay Park was finally going to make his long-awaited comeback and debut as a solo artist. The music industry and the fans couldn't be any more eager to welcome the singer back to Korea.

Back in one of the Music Bank dressing rooms, hidden from the fans, cameras, and lights, sat a young woman. Her eyes were glued to the TV as she, too, waited anxiously for Jay's turn to perform. Even with just a quick glance, anyone could tell she wasn't your typical "Jay-walker". Her outfit was made up of only designer-label clothing and her perfectly-curled blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders beautifully. Her flawless features would've made the top idols in the prettiest girl groups cry--except for the fact that she was one of those girls in one of the top groups.

Jessica sat there nervously (even though she was trying to convince herself there's no reason for her to feel so anxious) as she waited for Jay's debut stage as a solo artist. When the MC finally announced Jay's performance, the fans let out a deafening roar, and Jessica held her breath. It'd been so long since she'd last seen him, talked to him, and although she thinks it's ridiculous how the sight of him still manages to send her heart into a frenzy, she doesn't really mind.

As he began his performance, Jessica's still in awe of how amazing he looks. No, she's not fangirling about how sexy he looks (though she would freely admit that she thinks he's perfect). Jessica can't believe how strong he looks, how determined he looks, how happy he seemed to be; out on the stage, where he belonged, after such a long time, while being cheered on by his fans all around the world.

Her eyes shone with admiration as she watched; cheering him on in her heart. When he struck his final pose, she jumped to her feet and applauded with the crowd for a few seconds before quickly sitting down, realizing how ridiculous she looked. Still, she couldn't supress the huge smile that stretched across her face.

As the show proceeded with the other singers and groups' performances, Jessica's thoughts drifted off to Jay. She thought of them and how things were before he left. She bit her lip as she thought of how they promised to keep in touch but drifted apart anyways. The phone calls, texts, and letters lasted for about 3 months. Soon after, the contact became less and less frequent and then, one day, it just stopped.

Just as Jessica began to worry about whether coming to see him was a good idea or not, the MCs started to gather everyone on stage as they prepared to announce the winner. She quickly took a seat and her eyes were glued back to the TV.

The faceoff for the award came down to f(x) and Jay, and though she loved her little sister and hoobaes dearly, she was rooting for Jay. She could see the nervousness in his eyes and she could tell he was jittery and a little anxious. (She always thought he was so easy to read, but, then again, he would've said the same thing about her.)

When the numbers stopped and the MCs declared Jay the winner of the week, shock and joy crossed over both Jay and Jessica's face. She sprung up from her seat, her hands clasped over her heart as she wore one of the biggest smiles of her life.

He made a short victory speech and began his encore perfomance as Jessica watched with shining eyes; she thought her heart was going to burst.

Once the show was over, she crossed the room over to the door. With her hand on the doorknob, she felt like her heart had stopped and crawled up her throat.

Taking a deep breath, she opened the door slowly. She greeted a couple of the other artists as they made their way to their own dressing room.

"Unnie, you came! Did you like our performance? Did we do good?" Krystal's familiar voice called out to her as the tall teenager skipped down the hallway, throwing her arms around her older sister. The other f(x) members greeted her brightly.

"Oh, your performance was great, like always, my darling hoobaes. I'm impressed with you," Jessica smiled at them even though her eyes were wandering down the hallway, searching for Jay.

Searching, and searching, and searching for him.

When her eyes finally landed on Jay, Jessica felt like time froze for a moment. Her throat became dry and her hands became clammy as he made his way down the hall, still oblivious of her presence.

His eyes passed right over her and she could've sworn that her heart literally sank but then he did a double take, surprise taking over his features. He quickly excused himself from the conversation and went to Jessica, stopping in front of her.

"Jessica!" He said in English, sounding extremely happy.

"O-oh! Uh, J-Jay!" Jessica stammered, mentally cursing herself when she felt herself blush.

He smiled pleasantly, his eyes crinkling into little crescent moons. "It's been such a long time since I've seen you last! What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Um, I j-just came to w-watch my sister. A-and f(x)." Jessica said with a nonchalant shrug though she felt so awkward.

"Pinocchio~" Sulli and Luna sang while Krystal and Amber snorted with laughter.

Jessica reddened and felt like her entire face was on fire, even though Jay just laughed amicably.

"Leave Sica alone, will you? Let's get into the dressing room and give her some time with her friend." Victoria said, ushering the younger girls into the room. She smled softly at Jessica and gently patted her shoulder before disappearing into the dressing room as well.

Jessica didn't know if she should feel thankful or horrified that she was now left alone with Jay.

"Hey, you want to just come to my dressing room? I want to get some of his makeup off, and we have alot to catch up on." Jay said as he began to head down the hall. He threw a couple of glances over his shoulder to make sure she was following him.

There was no one in his dressing room. Jessica stepped one foot in hesitantly but before she could take another step, she felt herself being pulled forward into the room.

Jay shut the door behind her and pulled her into a lung-crushing hug; his face buried in the crown of her head, inhaling the scent of her shampoo. Still smells like strawberries, he thought fondly.

"God, Jessica, I've missed you so much." He mumbled.

Tears sprang to her eyes as she wrapped her thin arms around his torso. "I missed you too, Jay." She pressed her face into his chest.

"It's been too long. I know we lost contact, but I never stopped thinking about you. Never. All this time, I've been thinking about you. I've dreamed about this day, you know. Finally being able to see you again, finally being able to hold you in my arms." He said in a low voice, his arms around her tightening.

Even though she felt like she couldn't breathe, Jessica would'nt have this moment any other way, and she wished it would never end.

"I thought you forgot about me. I thought you had thrown me away with your past. You're finally back. Oh my god, you're finally back." Jessica said, her voice breathy as she tried to hold back the tears.

Jay held her in front of him at an arm's distance, getting a good look at her face before bringing his hands to her face, wiping away her tears with his thumb.

"Jessica, I would never, ever abandon you. I love you. Don't ever forget, okay? I love you; always have, always will." He said softly before leaing in and kissing her.

Jessica finally relaxed, her hands resting on his chest, and pressed her body closer to his.

"I love you too," She mumbled against his lips.

Jay pulled away and smiled at her.

"I'm finally home."

* ack. this is kinda sappy... idk. i was rushing to finish this, so excuse any errors/typos you find (even though i tried to get it as perfect as possible)

** it took me a while to come up with a title. the first one was "How To Seduce Jessica". then it was "You're Not Abandoned". i finally settled on "Finally Home" because my idea kept changing, and i felt this one suited it best. meh ;p
