Introduction!
Welcome.
This is my pretty-much-permanent introduction post, geared towards those who are not habitual LiveJournal users -- family friends, relatives, ex-professors, people who get my mommy's Christmas letter etc. LJers please comment to this post, so I know who reads it!
Things to know:
- The most recent posts are just below this one.
- You can comment on the entry even if you've never used LiveJournal or don't have an account. Please feel free to do so. Click the "Leave a Comment" link and click the "Anonymous" button next to the word From. I'd appreciate it, of course, if you'd sign your post, though -- I'm not psychic and probably won't recognize your writing style. :-D It's not like an email, by the way; you needn't include a Subject if you don't feel like it.

Tell me a bit about yourself, if you like, especially if you think I might not be 100% sure who you are, or know you only online. Or tell me why you bothered to visit my LiveJournal. Or just say hi. Or post a silly picture or link. Or whatever. I'm interested in who reads this nonsense.
