I am so upset about Prop 8 that I can barely put it into words. And what upsets me more is that from what I've seen on the state breakdown, Los Angeles county only had a 32% voter turnout. I don't understand how more people couldn't have spoken out on such an important issue.

Right now I am very proud of my country and very disappointed in my neighbors.

Okay, Nunzio just told me that voter turnout in LA went up to about 48%. But I still think that's pretty awful!

People tend to not care about things that don't affect them directly. This one does affect me. It hurts my heart.
