Random thought while reading it. People claim to astral project into a different plane. What if this is actually removing oneself from the body and becoming in touch with / actually entering the spiritual core of the planet?

Personally, I both love and hate this concept of earth having a spirit. While it could make sense, and would be really damn sweet... the feeling of guilt for our species that comes along with it is nasty.
