It's so nice to see Lee get the love he deserves. He really is the tragic hero who doesn't get enough credit for all the things he does. This is lovely, even if it did break my heart to watch those finale scenes. ;) Well done.

Yes, he deserved much more then he received. I have my issues with the finale but in a way I like to see him standing alone on that field and being given a fresh start. Still I agree: it's heartbreaking! But looking at your icon I think you have a great way of dealing with it :D I love it!

This was so, so lovely. I love Lee... his pragmatism, his idealism, his love for democracy and justice, his rebellious side... And I agree with you about Lee being a tragic hero a hero who finally went sort of unnoticed and who never had the payoff he deserved for all the sacrifices he made for the fleet, his father and Kara :(

Great job! Thanks for sharing!

I love him too! Everything you mentioned - especially his pragmatism and rationalism, his ability to find unexpected solutions, to break new ground - and a whole lot more. Even his weak spots. I always feel there is so much going on under the surface. So there's a lot more to explore about him...

Have watched this a couple of times now and i'm still loving it. For me Lee is something of a fulcrum or rock that other characters react around and off. They had the big dramas as it were but Lee was, for me, always at the heart of it: Pushing, challenging and sometimes just being 'there'. He brought out the best and worst in those closest to him (Adma snr, Kara, Roslin)and even those who'd barely even met himbefore (Zarek, Romo etc). I watched the mini for the story, the title and the spaceships. I watched every series that followed for Lee. I actually like Lee's finale. It would have been too pat to walk off into the sunset with Kara (however much i wanted him too) and , though he was left alone, I still found some hope for him in that ending. He endured, he didn't break and I like to beleive he will go on to 'live' the fresh start he's been given ...All of which boils down to - I loved your Lee video, loved the way you put it together and the choice of music and it inspired me to go back and watch some others. Thank you.

First of all: thank you for your fantastic feedback!

Lee was, for me, always at the heart of it: Pushing, challenging and sometimes just being 'there'.

I completely agree! Even when he was just an observer, he had this strong presence and awareness. I love watching him analysing the situation, and although he is often doubtful and hesitating, creating his own independent point of view and - once he made a decision - acting true to his values. Part of what's disturbing me about the "right vs. smart" statement of Roslin is, that doing the "right" thing for Lee was never doing the "obvious" or - if you want - the "expected" thing. His pragmatism isn't that simple.

Doing what's right often means just following the rules, acting opportunistic, doing it the easy way. But not for Lee. He was always questioning what's right or wrong instead of accepting the Status Quo, always struggling to find his own vision of what's best, and in the end - at least for me - that IS the smart thing to do ( ... )
