Remember a while ago I asked if it was better to leave early or stay until the end? I've been struggling with this issue since then, before then, up to now. Well, up until yesterday. AMEN! This getting older shit is MUCH more manageable when everyone you know is on the same train.

Except that part of my "oh, crap, I'm almost 30!!" issues are with the fact that I still don't feel quite like a grown up yet and here you are, Madam Librarian-quite impressive! But you're about a week older, so I guess I have time to catch up! :-)

i'm so sorry to hear that alex has been negligent in friendship duties ... i'm sure you've already thought of this, but maybe it IS just pregnancy bullshit and not really the long-term situation. not that this makes it feel any better TODAY, but there might be an apology or at least a reconciliation still on the horizon. i hope so anyway.

either way, *I* still love you and am super glad we've kept in touch despite the distance.

Apparently pregnancy fucks people up significantly. And I understand that-it's the biggest life change anyone can go through. But it still hurts.

I'm very glad that we keep in touch, too. You're my oldest friend - I've actually liked you the entire time I've known you!
