Things that are fun: Listening to someone try to argue that the confederate flag isn't racist, and then break down crying when challenged on it.

Can't separate the confederate flag from that, any more than the Nazi swastika from mass genocide.

It's definitely not something she's let drop, either. Apparently it's part of Southern pride? Fucked if I know, man.

Nothing wrong with southern pride, state pride, national pride, whatever. But that particular symbol...
Alot of southerners want to use that flag to just promote their region, but they seem to think that if they can pick and choose what it represents, then everyone else should just forget the same things they do.
