Be selfish for once, stop worrying about what might or might not happen in your absence, and go do something. People will either get along well enough without you there, or whatever needs to be taken care of will still be there when you get back.
In all cases like this, find and determine what is best for YOU. What will most contribute to your growth, what will give you the most joy? Others will come and go as you please, but in cases like this, you have to look inside and figure out Who Chamren Is in this situation,and allow everyone else to do the same.
