I'm going to keep investigating, but I think it's probably the work of our 'hosts' here. Which means there won't be much we can do about it.

If it is the work of the owls, then the only thing we can do is uncover the reason for their sudden change of heart. If it is like when they sent us home, then there must be a reason.

Do you think we should tell the residents about the trees? I thought it might be better to keep it secret to prevent panic, but I am unsure.

Assuming they have a reason. They don't seem all that rational.

For the time being, I think you're right, and that we shouldn't panic them. We can keep an eye on the situation. If it gets worse, we'll have to talk to people. I think there are enough of us to keep things orderly, even if things become worse.
