i go to school in the town where my ex grew up. her family still lives there. her VERY FUCKED UP FAMILY. her mother used to call her at all hours (we're talking three, four am) while we were sleeping or whatever and start railing against her because she was committing a sin against jesus. she was vulgar, too. she would say horrible things,

wow. i was 19 before i physically stood up to my mother, but it wasn't to hit her. she had gone after my gf at the time & i twisted her arm behind her back and pushed her onto the couch until she calmed. It showed her that i was stronger & i wouldn't take her shit anymore. She was really violent b/c her mother beat her a lot & all the women in my family are at least a little crazy. Stopping the circle of violence takes a lot of control, but you feel cleaner for it. She needs to move out of her mother's house ASAP.

she doesn't live with her mom. she only goes to visit to see "the kids" (the little ones).

it's tough. because it still happens even though she HAS moved out/on.

it's times like these that i come dangerously close to getting roped back into her crazy world, too. because i want to be there for her now like i used to be about this. you know? hm.
