Boots! Boots! Coveted and bookmarked and fretted over for long enough to be stupid, but never purchased because my feet are small and my calves are not and that's always tricky. They fit, I bought them, they make me want to wear a-line miniskirts and colorful tights all the time and

Because we all know how hard it it to find them and how many cities we've got to troll looking and then how impressive it is when we do stumble upon them.

The boots are making me very happy.

It was a damn good time, though I got semi-spectacularly sick on Sunday which made that day pretty much a waste.

Boots are a serious thing, and I sooo hear you about wanting to don a zillion mini A-lines and stockings; I'm pretty addicted to that look despite my friends probably thinking I can't pull it off anymore (!).

Anyway, as a fellow small-footed large-calved lady, I salute you. And that closer cracked me up.

Your friends are WRONG. I'd put my 62-yo mom in a-line minis and boots if she'd give me the chance. I'd put my grandmother in 'em.
