I am trying to make good on my promise to try and post more here. I don't know when I went from posting daily to hardly posting at all. I suppose it was sort of a gradual thing. I would like to say it has to do with graduating from college but I think it started before then. I don't know. I guess I am just a lot busier than I used to be ( Read more... )

OMG so jealous!

I might have to call out work "ashamed" tomorrow if the Yankees lose tonight. Here's to a Yankees victory and a Red Sox defeat!

OMG IT TOTALLY ROCKED! You can go to work with no shame now! Of course, the Red Sox won too but at least we did!

The game was so totally awesome! When Cano hit the triple, the tier was literally pulsing under our feet from everybody jumping. I have no voice left, haha!

OH man, I totally wish I could!! We got the tickets through one of the reps my dad works with. We sometimes score really awesome tickets that way. My brother and his friend are all talking about how they are going to Cleveland, ha.

Yes, it is silly but alas, still exists! David's friend Christian made us stop at Michael's to get face paint (by running out of the car at a red light, I kid you not!) but he didn't find any so fortunately, no one was chasing me around with face paint. That could only end badly!

I MISS YOU TOO ALYSSA! You will have to give me a call next time you're in town and we will have chicken parm at John's Best. Ha. How is school and stuff? Hope it's fabulous! Things are going pretty well on my end, can't really complain. But yeah, nice hearing from you!!

Liz! HI! Yes, I am still in CT, welcome to the state!! How are you liking Hartford? I only go there for concerts usually (as you know, ha) but I love the Meadows, it's a fun theatre! I have been horrible about posting but I am trying to do better. Really!

Hartford is okay. The campus is really great and I love school, but we're kind of sheltered from the city. Trinity is trying to improve the campus-city relationship, especially because most students have the impression that Hartford is really sketchy. (Because it is really unsafe with the crime and poverty levels being so high. It's not like anyone gets shot on campus, but people have been mugged here and a few off-campus apartments have been robbed.) I haven't lived in a city like this, so it's a bit of an adjustment. Hartford has a lot to offer to the students here, though, and vice versa.

Yeah, we CT natives sort of have a similar opinion of the city. We love to talk about what a drug city it is. Hee. I really wish they would clean it up like they did Providence because apparently Providence was pretty bad for a while too and now it's awesome. I am glad you like your school though!
