I just read through this on AO3 and I really, really, love it. It's a classic scenario but things are playing out in such a realistic fashion and I seriously just want to gush and sigh over how perfect it is. Tim's fears about his situation are so reasonable and heavy that they actually make me afraid for him at some points, even when I know that the Kyptonians he's landed with are the nicest of the bunch. His homesickness keeps breaking my heart, too.

Your characterizations are so incredibly spot-on! I love the way you've portrayed the Superfamily and Tim. Their interactions feel so genuine and it's wonderful to read elements of social conflict that are completely natural and make sense. The dance of restrained hostilities and necessary niceties is quite interesting to follow.

I love that the romance aspect is just in Kon's head at this point, with Tim viewing their arrangement in as clinical a way as possible and distinctly not wanting that side of their deal. Kon's gotten so into his idea of having a marriage and a husband ( ... )

So excited to see a new installment in this wonderful story! And you continue to play with the dynamics between them in such an interesting and compelling way. I love how you have Kon wrestling with his values and trust in the system, while Tim tries to remain resolute in his mission. Yet they both find themselves conceding a little to each other, and it's really brought about in a subtle and natural way.

I'm just so loving this story, and all the fascinating elements to it. I can't wait to see where you go with it next, and how Tim and Kon's relationship slowly (and perhaps in fits and starts, as it has been thus far) progresses.

Fantastic job! Another excellent chapter!
