You know what's the first thing that popped in mind when I'm writing this? The image of White Rabbit running as fast as he can to the rabbit hole, saying,"I'm late,I'm late" with Alice curiously following him from behind.
Yeah, I'm the White Rabbit and I admit I'm very late to update this lj XDD
I had valid reasons as not to update, really:
-No internet connection for more than a month
-I just moved hence explaining the lack of internet
-I transferred to a new hospital in the middle of February which is hectic (coz the place is almost more than an hour journey from my house)
-I got more responsibilities than I normally had from the previous hospital which made me worn out after work, everyday
I do love my job seriously but I'm not sure how far can I survive in a place that I had to travel back and forth everyday, with endless work to do and lack of proper friends-I eat lunch by myself most of the time since I finish my work later than everyone else in pharmacy.Sad really,my life *shakes head*
Still work is work and my bills won't pay for itself right?Work hard,me!
Putting that aside, I'm sure everyone knows about the terrible news from Japan last Friday.I got to know while I was in ward, watching tv(I'm not slacking off just had to wait for the nurses to do their job). And my heart seriously pounded when I saw the damages.
I know this might come across as shallow but the first thing that I thought of is Arashi.Frankly speaking, I don't really have close friends or family in Japan.Neither do I even remotely know anybody from Japan apart from mangaka, idols and few artists. The only people that I do know quite well in terms of some part of their personal lives other than my ownself, family and friends is Arashi. That's how significant Arashi is and I want them to be safe.Of course, the rest of Japan matters but if you are put in a situation to save someone you know with some other person you didn't know, who will you choose?
Anyway, it's a relief to know the boys are okay. However, the total death count reached 10,000+ today and if I'm not mistaken, still rising. I really do hope Japan will get through this ordeal. They are a strong nation and they will make it.
It's scary though to think that there are so many catastrophic events within the last 5 years:earthquake, volcano eruption, flood etc.
Hopefully it won't continue to be like this but if it's God's test then, we just had to grit our teeth and get through it.
Lastly, I pray for everyone in Japan's safety wherever they are.Be strong, everyone.
