I feel so impotent when it comes to activism. But I have very strong views, just like you. It's so disappointing seeing the state of things these days. But hopefully things will improve with the next election. Because our lives do depend on it.

Agreed! I plan to continue volunteering with the local Democratic organization. They've got me delivering get-out-the-vote (GOTV) cards, because I told them I don't feel comfortable knocking on doors or making phone calls. If you check in with your local organization, they may have similar options for you, as well.

Just writing this piece, however, may have more impact than you realize!
