Hello, boys and girls, and welcome to my first weekly column here on LJ. What’ll it be about? The entertainment world (the world I seem to live in). Why here? I dunno where else to put it…Anyway, I figure I’ll just talk about random pieces of news in movies, TV, DVD, etc. The one thing I won’t do: music. What can I say? I'll keep it short, I'll keep it sweet-

1. I liked Diary of a Mad Black Woman
2. I think you should see movies before you discount all of them
3. The reason people go to see Wedding Crashers and movies like that is because they like the new so called "Brat Pack" of Vince Vaughn, the Wilson brothers, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, et al.
4. Ever think that one of the reasons movie sales are down is because it is becoming so expensive that people can't really afford to go to the movies all that often. $8 bucks a person on average, plus if they want food another 7-8 bucks at least per person... it adds up.

and yes Cinderella Man and Crash were amazing; however, think about the intellect of the average American. Not to underestimate everyone- oh wait I am, but they're intelligence is not that elevated on average.
