Chapter 2 - Can’t Make It
“Sorry sis. I can’t go to meet your boyfriend tonight. I’m going out with Yoon A” Donghae said as he was giving his best cute puppy-eyes to his sister.
“It’s ok. She’s your girlfriend anyway. You can meet Hyukjae later” Hyo Yeon said and patted his brother head.
“Don’t do that! I’m your oppa”
Hyo Yeon chuckled. “I’ll go now. Hyukjae is waiting for me” she said and waved her hand to Donghae.
Hyo Yeon wanted Donghae to meet her boyfriend, Hyukjae, but Donghae has to cancel the meeting because he has an appointment with Yoon A, his beloved girlfriend.

“Sorry, I’m late” Donghae said Yoon A when he arrived at Shines Cafe.
“It’s ok. I’m just arrived” Yoon A replied.
Donghae sat, facing his girlfriend and he called the waiter to take his order.
“Why do you want to meet me? You rarely ask me out at this time”. Donghae asked.
Yoon A lowered down her face as her tears started to fall down to her pink cheeks. Donghae got surprised of her behaviour and got up from his seat and took a seat beside Yoon A.
“What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Donghae asked in a concern voiced.
“....” She did not answer but kept crying.
Donghae putted his arms around Yoon A’s shoulder and pulled her closer. “Do you have any problem? Tell me. I’m your boyfriend. If you’ve any problem, I surely will help you”.
Yoon A managed to calm down but she was still sniffing. “My mom”
“Your mom? What’s wrong with her?”
“She’s sick and need to do an operation as soon as possible” she said and buried her face on Donghae’s shoulder.
“Oh my God. Her condition is really bad?” Donghae asked in surprised.
Yoon A nodded. “I don’t know what to do. The operation cost so much. I don’t have too much money”.
Donghae patted her head lightly. “Don’t worry. I’ll give you the money and your mother can do the operation soon”.
Yoon A looked at Donghae. “I’ll pay you back”.
Donghae shook his head. “No need to pay back. I’m sincere to help your mother”.
“Thanks, oppa. I love you” Yoon A said and kissed Donghae’s cheeks.
After finished their dinner, Donghae offered himself to send Yoon A home. He was really worried about Yoon A condition.
“I’ll bank in the money to your account tomorrow”.
Yoon A nodded weakly and went off of the car.

“Where’s your brother?” Hyukjae asked when he saw Hyo Yeon came alone.
“He has to cancel this meeting because he has a date with his girlfriend” replied Hyo Yeon.
“Oh. Are you really close with him?”
“Yes, he’s the best oppa I ever have”. Hyo Yeon smiled.
“How’s about your another oppa?”
“He’s also my best oppa but I’m not really close with him since he’s moving to China three years ago”.
“I really want to meet your oppa. He’s same age with me right?”
Hyo Yeon nodded. “Where’re we going now?” she asked.
“It’s up to you”
“How’s about we go to watch the movie before go to the dinner?” Hyo Yeon suggested.
Hyukjae agreed and they made their way to the cinema.

“I’m back!” Hyo Yeon shouted when she came back from her date.
“Welcome back” Donghae answered weakly.
Hyo Yeon stared confusedly at his brother. “What’s wrong?” she asked on sat down on the couch.
“Yoon A’s mother is sick and she needs to do an operation” replied Donghae and sighed.
“Aw, that’s so bad. I hope she’s ok” she said and putted her hand on Donghae’s hand to give him a support. “Oppa, can I ask a favour?”
“What’s it?”
“I want to make my birthday party at Gee Club next week”.
“Your birthday is coming?”
“Do you forget my birthday too?”
“I’m kidding. Of course I remember”
“So, can I make...” Hyo Yeon could not finish her sentences because Donghae nodded, mean that he was agreed with her favour. “I’ll introduce Hyukjae to you”.

Donghae stretch his hand to shake Hyukjae’s. “I’m Donghae. Nice to meet you”.
“Hyukjae. Nice to meet you too”. ‘Did I know him? He looks really familiar’. Hyukjae murmured.
‘Why he’s look really familiar? Did I know him?’ Donghae thought.
