Chapter 6 - Confused
Hyo Yeon’s P.O.V
“Do you want to come to my house after this?” I invited Hyukjae.
“For what?” he asked.
“Meet my oppa. I thought you want to be close with him” I replied.
I wanted Hyukjae to know more about my brother. I hope they would become a good friend before Hyukjae and I went into a really serious relationship.
“Maybe next time” he said and focused on his driving.
Hyukjae’s behaviour was really weird since the birthday party last week. I wondered what was wrong with him. Every time I invited him to the house, he would give many excused. I hope nothing bad was happened that night.
“Oppa” I called him.
“Hmm?” he said, not looked at me because he was so focused drove the car.
“Did something happen to you that night?”
“What night?” he asked confusedly.
“At my birthday party last week”
“Not.. Nothing happen” he replied. He sounds nervous. “Why?” he added.
“Nothing. You look weird since that night”
“You’re thinking too much”.

When I reached at home, I quickly went to find my brother. As usual, he was on his bedroom, listening to the music. Since he was broke up with Yoon A, he did not go out too much. He only went to college and after finished the class, he went back to the house. I was really worried about his condition.
I went inside his room and sat on the chair in front of the bed. “Oppa, did something happen on the night of my birthday?” I asked straight forward.
He was raised up his eyebrows. “I’m drunk?”
“I know. But, when you’re drunk, did you do something or talk anything bad to Hyukjae?”
“How can I remember that? I was drunk”.
He was right. He was drunk that night and it was impossible to him to remember what had happened that night.
“Why did you ask?”
“Nothing”
“Did I do something bad to Hyukjae shi?”
I shook my head. “No, don’t worry oppa” I said.

Donghae was on his way to the Shines Cafe when he met Hyo Yeon and Hyukjae at the street.
“Where’re you guys going?” Donghae asked.
“To the Shines Cafe” replied Hyo Yeon.
“I also want to go there” Donghae exclaimed.
“Great! Let’s go together!” Hyo Yeon shouted as she was grabbed Donghae’s arm.
“Ask your boyfriend first” Donghae said while pointing his thumb to Hyukjae.
“He’ll agree, right oppa?” Hyo Yeon said and looked at Hyukjae.
“Yes”.
Donghae looked at Hyukjae and smiled at him. “Thanks”.
Hyukjae’s cheeks turned red. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ Hyukjae murmured.
“Oppa, are you ok?” Hye Yeon asked when he saw his boyfriend was felt uncomfortable.
Hyukjae shook his head.
“Let’s go now” Hyo Yeon said, with Hyukjae was on her right while Donghae on her left.
They went to the Shines Cafe together. Hyukjae did not talk too much. He was also could not look at Donghae because every time he saw Donghae, his heart would beat so fast and he was so nervous.
‘I shouldn’t be here. I can’t see his face. What am I going to do?’ Hyukjae asked himself. ‘I should go out from here’.
“Excuse me. I feel dizzy suddenly. I want to go back home now” Hyukjae gave an excused. He really could not sit there anymore.
Hyo Yeon looked concernedly at him. “Are you ok, oppa?”
Hyukjae shook his head.
“Do you want me to send you home?” Donghae offered.
“No, no. No need to trouble yourself” replied Hyukjae. “Hyo Yeon ah, you too. No need to send me. Just go home with your brother” he continued.
“Are you sure you can go back by yourself?” Hyo Yeon asked. She was so concerned about Hyukjae.
Hyukjae nodded and stood up from the seat. He kissed Hyo Yeon’s cheeks and bowed slightly to Donghae before went off of the cafe.
‘I don’t know what wrong with me! I can’t see his face. Every time I meet him, a weird feeling started to grow inside me. I’m so confused. I can’t stop thinking about the kissed. Oh God! Hyukjae, what happen to you?’ Hyukjae muttered.
