Chapter 13 (Part 1) - To Fulfil the Promise
Hyukjae’s P.O.V
“So, that’s why you didn’t call me?” I asked.
“Yes and I’m sorry” he replied.
I hugged him again and rested my head on his shoulder. “Fishy, I miss you”.
“I miss you too, Monkey” he whispered.
I felt so happy. After 10 years, I got to meet him. He is really changed now. I thought I would go crazy! I have fall in love with him again. What should I do? I already have Hye Yeon but I really could not leave him.
“Monkey, what’re you thinks?” he asked me.
“Nothing”
“Hey Monkey”
“Yes?”
“Do you still remember about our promise?”
“What promise?” I asked him. I was totally forgets about it. What was our promised?
“About this” he said as he was captured my lip with his. Now I remember. About the make out promise. We have promised to make it after we met again.
But, I felt so wrong. I felt so guilty. I pushed his body and looked at him. He was a bit shocked with my action. “This is wrong”.
“Why?”
“I don’t know”
Donghae sighed before turned his body, his back was facing me.
“Are you angry?” I asked.
“No. I’m sorry” he said with his low voiced.
We fell silent. I wanted him but I was thinking about Hyo Yeon.
“We should find a way out of here” Donghae said as he was got up. “Can you get up?” he asked concernedly as he was stretched his hand.
I grabbed his hand and stood up. “But, how’re we going to find the way out?”
He chuckled. “I don’t know. Until now, I still don’t like camping”.
“You’re not change” I said and smiled. He did not angry with me and that made me felt relief. Right now, we have to find the way to get out of here. “Maybe we should do the woodpile as a signal” I suggested.
Donghae nodded. We went inside the jungle and searched for the firewood. I really did not have much strength now. I was too tired and my body was hurt.
“Hey Monkey”
“Yes?”
“Can we eat that fruit?” Donghae asked as he was pointing his fingers to the grape tree not far from us.
My eyes brighten. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the grape tree. We were so lucky because there was not only grape tree but also apple and strawberry tree. Wow! That was weird. Where are we now? We picked as much fruit as we could before went back to the beach.
We were made the woodpile, hoping that someone would see us. It was already night. I did not know how many hours we have been here. Our family and friends must be really worried right now. Donghae did not say anything since we went back from the jungle. I wonder what was wrong with him.
“Fishy, are you ok?”
He looked at me and nodded. I remember our first met. That time, he was a cry-baby. He was so cute and innocent.
“Monkey” he called me.
“What?”
He paused, thinking about something. “Nothing”
I raised my eyebrows. I know something wrong with him. He hugging his own legs and buried his face on his legs.
“Fishy, anything’s wrong?”
He shook his head but still he did not lift his head to look at me.
“Fishy” I putted my hand around his shoulder and he suddenly hugged me, so tight. “Fishy?”
“Just stay like this, please” he begged.
I hugged him back and I did not know how many minutes we stay like that. My heart started to beat so fast and I knew he was like that too. I could felt his heart beat.
“Monkey, can we continue our relation?” he asked.
“...” I did not know what to say.
“Let’s make a secret relationship”.
