Chapter 9 - Confused
Donghae’s P.O.V
A week has passed since Eunhyuk confessed to me. Since that day, I am avoiding him. I knew I should not do that but I am confused with myself.
*Flashback*
“When I’m with you, my heart can’t stop beating so fast. Every time I see you, my feeling towards you just grows deeper. I want to be more close to you. I want to be more than your best friend”. He closed his eyes and lowered down his head.
I did not know what to say. I did not know either I love him or not. I like him but do I really love him? I do not want to accept him if I only thought he looked like Hyukjae. I am confused. I wanted to love someone with my heart, not because he looked like Hyukjae.
“Eunhyuk, I don’t know. Please give me some time” I said and got up. “Let’s go back to our dorm. It’s getting late”.
He nodded and got up too. Along the way back to the dorm, we did not talk. I felt really guilty. But what can I do?
*End Flashback*
I decided to call my hyung. Maybe he could help me.
“Yobuseyo”
“Yobuseyo. Hyung, it’s me”
“Hae, how are you? Hyung really miss you”
“I miss you too” I said weakly.
“Anything is wrong? You sound so sad”
“Hyung, I’ve a problem”
“Tell me. I’ll always listen to you”
“Eunhyuk confess to me”
“Wow! That’s great. So, what’s your problem?”
“I told him to give me time. I’m confused”
I heard Heechul hyung sighed. “Donghae ah, you should open your heart for someone else. I know you still remember Hyukjae but try to accept Eunhyuk slowly”
“I don’t know”
“I believe Eunhyuk really love you. He’s not bad. Hyukjae is gone. Remember, appreciate someone when he’s still alive”
Heechul hyung was right. I am still remembers Hyukjae and that is why I am confused. I really love Eunhyuk, not because he looked like Hyukjae. He always be with me. Always be by my side when I am happy or sad. Why I do not see that? Eunhyuk was really good to me.
“Thanks hyung. Saranghae”
“Ne, saranghae”.
I hang up and made my way to Eunhyuk’s room. I wanted to tell him that I love him too. I did not want to avoid him anymore.
I was too excited until I forgot to knock the door. I rushed into his room and what did I saw really broke my heart. Eunhyuk was kissing with another man on a bed?
“Donghae?”. He looked really surprised.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t disturb you guys” I said and run off of his room. I heard he called me but I did not care. Tears flew from my eyes. I felt dizzy. My hands felt like ice. My legs were tremble. I am so hurt!
