Warm? Cool?

After I get my hair trimmed, I will dye my hair a dark dark brown, or light black color.  I'm sort of hesitant to dye it "black" since I don't want to look washed out or sickly.  Therefore I am attempting to figure out if my skin tone is "warm" or "cool".  I think that it's cool, because I look pretty okay in silver, and not so good in gold.  Is
