Well, fudge...

Do you ever just feel like cussing yourself out?  I have to do it mentally, since I don't curse (out loud, in American English), but I've been doing it on and off for the last few hours.

See, I'm reading (another) new webcomic called Deuling Analogs.  (www.deulinganalogs.com)  It's funny and stuff, but...My gods, I actually understand pretty much ( Read more... )

I find it weird how most of the girls in Bleach are either flat-chested or have GINORMOUS boobs. But they're funny.

I'm like that too. Heh, just not to an extreme extent.

DUO~♥

Heh, that's just me. Yeah, you're probably just missing everything you're used to.

Nah, I'm not really the type to moon over what's not in front of me. But I am used to being able to go to the bookstore and browse for hours (cuz all the books are in English.) And I am used to having things to do--homework, clubs, work...

Having free time is like dressing up for me--in theory I always thought I wanted it, but when the time comes, I can't stand it.

(I had to dress up fancy for a friend's sweet sixteen, and partially because of that, I skipped ANYTHING else that I needed to dress up for. I realized how much I can't stand it. Not only does it take too long, but it feels unnatural and stupid.)

Now I know I am weird! jk, Okay you are in college, but check this out. I am a thirty-something, parent of four, with a fascination for everything Japanese. (Glad to hear you found a way to get to Japan, I am still working my angle) I have Kanji (creativity) permanently tattooed on my body. I am fascinated by Anime/Manga and some J-Dorama. I have all the GH manga. I have gh AMVs on my I-pod. I have Sailor Moon figurines and wallscrolls and a Christmas CD. I attend a con and want to cosplay as Mai. I write fanfic too, based from Anime....Oh, I even have a few (okay 6) Sailor Moon charms on my Italian Charm bracelet! ^-^;; The point of all this rambling, and I really hope this helps, #1.) Don't feel so bad! #2.)You are not alone!

Thanks! It's not all of them separately that gets to me, it's the days when I have no real reason to leave my apartment because I'm halfway around the world from my family and old friends, and my friends here have lives that I don't plan out for them. (Yes, pity my friends at home.)

I think it's just frustration; I HOPE it's just frustration. It'll go away when I get home, when I can call my cousins in the middle of the night to talk about poetry, or video games. When I can go to the bookstore and talk to strangers without worrying that they speak another language.

I have this funny feeling that I'm going to be really social for a while when I get home.

How long have you been in Japan? No reason at all? ~ Uguu ~ I am sorry, that I can understand. How soon do you get to come home? I think it's cool that you will be sociable when you get back, just to enjoy all that you missed. ~Daisuki-chan

I'm only here for the summer semester, so from...the last day in March until about the end of July. Five months, give or take.

I don't actually mind being on my own a lot; I'm sociable but really do prefer my own company a lot of the time. I'm just not used to having quite so much free time.

(My Mom and Nanny get kind of upset when I go to the movies by myself at home...But why should I have to wait for someone else to want to see the same movie, when I can go by myself whenever I feel like it?)

Misspelling leads to bad links. anonymous July 10 2007, 03:49:56 UTC
You inadvertently misspelled "dueling", thus creating a bad link to Dueling Analogs (http://www.duelinganalogs.com).
