question about MUCINEX DM drug

Has anyone on my friends list ever tried the Mucinex medicine brand before and if so does it work relieve congestion and cough for 12hrs? I have a cough thats driving me insane and saw the commercials for it and wanted to know if there is anyone who has tried it before and if it really works because the other cough medicine isnt really working.

I have found it helpful. I always get one of those deep make your whole body vibrate coughs, and it helps to quieten it while being more productive when I do cough in getting the mucus out. I also use cough syrup on top if need be.
