So...Steve and I are coming up on our 3 year anniversary...the 21st, coincidentally, the day the world is supposed to end.Its not always been a bed of roses, rainbows and unicorns...but so far all things considered we have done amazingly well. No fights, no shouting, no name calling, no slammed doors...just occasional disagreements and some life

I have found it difficult at times to make myself un-happy when things are going too well. My honest assessment of the situation follows:
If I wee you, I wold not look upon this as a lie. Thee have been times in my life,when surprised by a question I wasn't expecting, I had the mental reflex action to say the first ting that came to mind...a thing that wasn't rue, a thing I later realized was due to a defensive mental posture , thrown up to defend myself against what could have initially been interpreted as an accusation. Later on I would feel uncomfortable by having told a needless untruth. I would feel dumb and a bit soiled, but usually I would , If I wee lucky, have a chance to "explain" exactly why I answered the way I did.
So, dear pal,I say "fuckit and forgetit" It's all part of the "Ride".
