Oh, and for the record...

"In Treatment" just slays me, it's so good.  Gabriel Byrne is just amazing and the new patients this time out are so compelling.  I like the new format (two episodes Sunday, three Monday) and I'm so glad HBO got smart and renewed it.

If you're not watching it, you should be.

I agree!!!
It is fantastic to watch him. He has to convey so much through just his face and body movements.
Of course, part of the tension is that his character's life duplicates some of the issues of his patients.
Not sure I like the format. I liked having an episode to look forward to each night. But, then again, this way it only conflicts with Rachel Maddow one night.

Agreed. Although, watching the last round, I found myself yelling, "Paul! Paul, don't do it! Paul!" The lawyer ex patient is nuttier than something really nutty.

It's beyond the ability of my DVR to sort out the current eps and reruns, to only record one of each, and somehow give me an idea of which is which, so trying to watch it was like a case in schizophrenia--four eps about three different people, two of which were a different season than the other one.

Unless it's *meant* to be like that! :-)

(But I did enjoy the acting before I gave up; probably a good thing to rent sometime when one can watch it properly).
