Let's see...I just finished a play, Rabbit Hole, by David Lindsay Abaire. GREAT piece. And I'm reading a fictional treatment of the life of Queen Nerfertari in ancient Egypt. The last book I read that I couldn't put down? "South of Broad" by Pat Conroy.

The directions say: Fill a glass almost full with beer. Fill the rest with orange juice (careful not to fill it to the top). Then take the shot of amaretto and drop it into the cup with the beer and orange juice.

Does that mean drop the whole shot glass filled with amaretto into the bigger glass, or pour the shot of amaretto into the beer and orange juice?

I think it would be easies to put the amaretto and orange juice in the glass, then fill with beer. But I didn't watch them make it, so I'm not sure.

You have work? That's good news! Lack of job security is (usually, depends on the circumstances) still better than lack of job.

I've had work since April, so while yes, I lost my job, I was blessed to find another quickly. That being said, this job is a soulcrusher, and to not have things that go with it like vacation or sick pay or healthcare benefits, it wears me down even more.
