In a Bridgerton-esque Central European country where the correct form of address for a baron is "Baron", would it be okay for the characters to address him as such in the English translation or would that make them sound like Americans who don't understand English titles? It sounds funny to me, as in humorous. An English baron is addressed as Lord X, or my lord, or X, but I believe the English in the upper reaches were taught to use European honorifics for European nobles/royalty. However, in the bedroom, in an intimate moment, wouldn't an intimate name be used? Unless you intend some irony there.

The lady in question is a social climber, so I'm pretty sure she finds the honorific a turn-on (plus I think it functions here as an infodump lettig the audience know his status). She's also a Central European herself, so the title is defiiteloy correct in context. My personal feeling is it's ok to use foreign honorifics for foreign nobility, but I'm not 100% certain how it would strike an English speaker.
