Finally!! After a such looooooooooooooong time~ I finally can update ^^
too busy.. many school work and exams T^T
I can checking people's journal.. and watching.. but no time to continue my story XP
well.. here it is~
Chapter 3. The Another World
“Whatever. Just tell me, what are you?”
“Didn’t I just tell you? I’m a Kroll”
“Not that! I mean, what are you doing in here?!”
“Oh, I’m not explaining anything to you yet huh? Oh well, just calm down for a while and listen to me, OK?” she say as she flying around in my room, and finally approaching me.
“Don’t come near me!”
“…” She somehow looks surprise. Its makes me feel kind of guilty yelling at her. She sat back a bit and began talking again.
“Okay then, Lucia. You are bored right? You say, life is boring, everyday is just the same. It’s the way you looking to the world right? Boring. I’m here to change that. I’m send to change your vision. Something like that.”
“What?”
After saying that, she made a ‘click’ sound with her finger, and another light coming out from her body. It’s so bright that I can’t see anything. I’m covering my eyes with my hand. When I think the light is go off, I open my eyes and I see a field. As far as I can see, I’m just seeing grass everywhere. I think my eyes must be wrong. It must be because of the light. So I close my eye and shake my head. When I open my eyes again, it’s not change. I really am in the field.
“What are you doing? Do you want to stay in here? Hurry up and walk. Don’t forget to take the book.” Kairi’s word wake me up from my mind. It’s not dream at all! I’m not in my home! It’s just like a different dimension! I see Kairi is keep flying without looking back. Her small body is keep going smaller and smaller. I hurry take the white book in the ground and chase Kairi, “Do you know where are you walking to?” “Of course I know! I often play in here! You don’t have to worry!” she said that very confident, but I just meet this thing! How can I’m not worry? This really is crazy.
As time past, I can see in the far away some kind of building. But it’s different with the building I used to see. It’s not a building from iron. It’s from stone! And the windows have no glass! They just make a hole for the window. It’s weird. It’s way too weird. “Are we… in past?” “No. It’s in another world. Not a past.” She really is good at making me shock. I really can’t think clearly and just keep walking. Inside the city is look like a market. It’s very crowded with people, yeah, that what I called them for now. They just look like human but not entirely the same. Some of them have a sharp ears and a weird hair color, some have three eyes, one in the forehead, some have a rabbit like ear, some have a weird tentacle-like hand, there is so many! They are doing some trading in here. Not with money, but with another goods! Is Kairi sure it’s not the past? For me, I’m like seeing a history-like movie with aliens starring in it.
“Here it is!” Say Kairi. She point to a stand with a lot of dress in there. I can’t really say it’s a dress. Well, just look like some dress. “0H!! ￥04r €£07H!! ￥04r €£07H!!” Say the thing that standing behind the clothes stand. It has an octopus head with a head band. The arm looks like human’s arm, but the hand like tentacles. Instead five fingers, it has five tentacles. He is talking with some languages I don’t understand, so I ask it to Kairi, “Huh?” “Ah right. I forgot to give you this. Use this piercing.” She gives me a piercing with some symbol hangs on it. For now, I just wear it. Beside, Kairi never do something that might harm me. So this piercing must be harmless too. When I wear it, I feel some win blowing around me. It’s really warm and comfortable. Within seconds, my hearing changes. Before, what I hear just strange words that I don’t even understand. But now, I think I can understand what they are saying.
“Hey! Do you listen to me?? Your cloth!! Your cloth!!” say the octopus.
“Who? Me?” I reply.
“Of course you! Who else? Your cloth!! Where you get that” say the octopus as point to my school uniform.
“She got it from a very rare merchant. We never see that merchant everywhere. Not even heard about him. His body is covered with a rainbow silk. We can only see his eyes. The right one has a green color and the left one has a bright red color. Every time he walks, there is a sound of bell ringing. He might be the famous wanderer merchant! Reen!” say Kairi with enthusiastically.
“Oh my octopus-lord!!! Give it to me! Please! I want it!” say the octopus.
“But, we might get this from Reen. It could be very…”
“Oh… Please!! I’ll give this, and this, and this… just take all of it! Please give me that cloth!!”
“Okay!”Say Kairi very energetically. “Lucia, what are you waiting for? Hurry change your cloth with that one.” She says while pointing at one cloth in the table. I’m just obeying her and take the cloth with a broken white color on the table.
“Please come here. You can change your cloth in here.” The octopus say while guide me to the inside of the stand. There is a red curtain hanging from nowhere. The curtain just keeps standing in the place. When I stand in front of it, the curtain suddenly form a circle around my body. At first I’m very surprise that I almost yell, but I hold it and try to act calm. I decide to change my cloth in there. The cloth surprisingly suits my body size. When I’m done changing, the red curtain opens again.
“How’s this cloth?” Ask me to Kairi.
“It’s good! I knew it! You have quite a long hair, a small face with a big eye! That kind of face is suit with a cute cloth! Your white skin is a perfect suit with a broken white cloth! A one piece is suit the best with you! Especially a one pieces that right on the knee!”Say Kairi while she is holding a very big bag in the air.
“… Need some help?”
“Yes please!” she say quickly ad giving me the bag. It’s really heavy. It’s like a miracle that she can lift it.
“Ah, here is my cloth.” I say to the octopus while giving the cloth.
“Thank you! Thank you so much!” say the octopus.
“Okay then, we will leave! Thank you” Say Kairi
“You’re welcome”
“Is it alright to lying like that? We even take a lot of cloth.” I say to Kairi.
“It’s alright. He also got a rare thing right? Your uniform might be usual in your world. But not in here.”
“ooo… Ah! That’s not the point! I almost forgot it! Why are you bringing me to here? I want to back to my world!”
“Ck! I though you forgot that already. Well, that’s impossible. It takes quite a lot of power to bring you here. I can’t bring you back to your own world that easy. For now, just follow me.”
“What? But…”
“Hey, do you see that? Isn’t she’s kind of weird? I’m never seeing someone that small.” Say the thing that passing me. I’m not sure, but I think they’re talking about Kairi. Now they mention it, Kairi was said that she often plays in here, doesn’t mean this is the place where she comes from. It looks like Kairi realize it too, that a lot of thing talking about her.
“Lucia, follow me.” Say Kairi while she guide me to some alley.
“What?” I say. But, its looks like she didn’t listen to me. She close her eyes and some light glowing again from her body. I close my eyes again with my hand. I think we’re gonna change place again, but it looks like I’m wrong. When I open my eyes, Kairi is missing. Instead of Kairi, something stands in front of me. It’s have a really long hair with green color. The eyes are like a deep sea, so blue. The face is indescribably pretty. The cloth is a one piece from neck without arm to thigh. At first I gaze off a while and then, I startled. I want to run away, but it’s suddenly say, “Wait Lucia! Where do you want to go?” With a familiar voice. “K… Kairi?” I ask hesitantly. “Yes! Who do you think I am?? A stranger?? Hahaha… You sure are funny!” “Shut up! Let’s hurry up and go!” I say as I turn my body and start walking. “Where are you going? Do you even know where we are going to?” say Kairi. I stop walking when I hear that, “Then hurry up and lead the way!” I say as I pull Kairi to my front and hide my face that starting become red.
